Disappointing. Undercooked brisket. I don't get BBQ often because it's super pricey. When I do, I expect it to be tender. I just came home tonight with half a pound of "moist" brisket and turkey. They were both inedible. You can easily see the connective tissue remaining on the brisket. Update. Area Manager Glen Loth reached out to me. Unprofessional and condescending. I cannot understate how incredible the moist brisket is. My only wish is that my girlfriends family had taken a picture of my face the moment I tried it to post with this review because I cannot put into words how much that moment will impact my future waistline. Rudy’s has the most delicious smoked brisket. I love that I can get two large baked potatoes topped with brisket & feed 4 small kids & myself for decent price - healthy food too. (Works for our food sensitivities) Their take it is great too- prompt & kind car side delivery. I do wish it was a little quieter inside for meeting friends & being able to hear each other. Wow, SALTY. I got the pork loin sandwich and the baked beans. I don't think either could have been more salty unless you just poured a keg of salt over the top. They need to take it easy with the "rub" on the meat, plus they clearly brine it to too long. Salted pork is what it was. The beans, not much better. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My first time at Rudy's and it was an okay experience. The food was good, my brisket sandwhich was delicious but I did wish they had a few more side options like mac and cheese, most sides are cold options. The atmosphere is okay. Tipping is weird, the person who takes your order seems to be the one who prepares your food but drinks are self serve and you have to pick up after yourself after you're done eating. They have a very delicious Green Chili Stew. They do chop the potatoes smaller than the store at 290. Still very tasty.. The service has always been friendly at both locations. They did scrape the bowl on our pulled pork. But, my husband ate it and enjoyed it. It's Rudy's, so expectations dor southern food is a must. Ive always liked amd this didn't disappoint. My Brisket was a little cold and i wish it was a little warmer. Overall we had fun and good time. We will go back again. Floors could be a little cleaner. Had to ding the service for cultural reasons. I’m a retired line cook with 20 years of experience. I’m very familiar with the restaurant industry, like a second home for me. That said, if you’re making a full hourly wage and it’s not a full service restaurant? Don’t ask for a tip. I carried my food and drinks out to my table and bused my table afterwards. All the employees did was cook the food and charge me for it. Everything else was me. Why am I expected to tip? I look forward to the day when the minimum wage is a livable wage and we can dispense with gratuity as a society. Came here Friday night for takeout of their chopped brisket potatoes. These were some amazing potatoes cooked just right, not over cooked and dry.
