When it comes to Tex-Mex, Rosa’s Cafe has yet to disappoint. Not only is it really tasty, there are a plethora of options to which one might get overwhelmed. I literally couldn’t decide and had to take a moment. As for their drinks, you can go wrong with the frozen Margarita which is a crowd favorite in my family, especially for the price. The decor and theme is extremely festive and gives you the vibes of what Panchos Buffet use to be. Rosa’s definitely fits an anytime any occasion dining and it won’t disappoint or break the bank.

Okay, so this is where I get real about my feelings and food. Presentation is EVERYTHING! I visited the Mesquite location with a group from GoodBar Community Center. I had ample time to check their menu online prior to arriving and was a bit hungry, too. I ordered the Combination Nacho plate. I was very disappointed when I placed my order and was asked "chicken or beef"? Huh?! I thought combination meant more than one meat on my nachos. Please can someone explain to me the word combination? Because the plate I got looked like slop.
My food looked nothing like the picture on their menu, and food was hanging on the sides of my plate. I was very unhappy with this selection, and I didn't finish my food. Look, I get it, texmex or should I say texmess. I brought this to the manager, who was also the cashier who took my order and my money. He basically told me this was not his restaurant, and this is how this order was prepared. I used the analogy of a combination pizza (supreme) with different meats. He just blew me off and went back to what he was doing. Not all Mexican food is authentic, and I have eaten authentic Mexican food. I compared this plate to Taco Bell. I don't eat Taco Bell!! But Rosa's Cafe, you must do better. Rename those nachos or live by their name, offer half ground beef and half chicken on a bigger plate.
I don't like wasting money. I give this review 🌮.

My first visit to a Rosa's and it was great. I ordered the Mexican Plate. Not pictured is the chicken enchilada,, beans and rice. Might be the best chicken enchilada I have had.

I like rosas cafe but they give so little food on take out dam shouldve just bought me something else for $12 this just makes like 1 taco smh this is my 2nd time happening even their fajitas tacos is just one little piece of meat they give you for $15 basically

We like eating inside, but when we do the drive thru we never have to wait. Pull up, order, pay, get food and gone in like 2 minutes.

I couldn't wait to try this new restaurant. The service and atmosphere was okay, but I wasn't a fan of their food. The food definitely looks good, but the quality is not there. We had the tacos and hubby tried the nachos. Just a few things stood out: stale taco shells, canned refried beans, and dry taco meat. They could also use some improvement in customer service. It didn't feel very welcoming. More like rushed thru and pushed along a line. I'm sure they'll do well, because they stayed busy. It's a nice facility with plenty of seating indoors. They also have a patio area, but it was too cold 🥶to sit outdoors. It's a no for me👎

This location is clean, just opened, spacious and lots of seating. The front lady was nice and my kind of gal. It was not busy at all being at 3pm. I know this place is busy at certain times. Order ready in 7 minutes. Food is portioned right. Well cooked food. I been to other Rosa's locations and the tamales just as good as other locations. Nachos were tasty. TACOS were good. They have a drink station on the far side of the restaurant for convenience. Watching everyone in the dining room, every plate was near empty to nothing left on plate. So the customers seemed content. I was happy with my meal and filled up. It was a good dining experience and nothing wrong so far. I will come back to this location.

This place is very colorful decorated inside! With talavera planters and Mexican wall art. Food is basic but ok for the price. Beans were a little bit too salty but tortillas are very good. Good portions per plate. Place is clean and spacious you won’t feel crowded even on lunch hours.

Chicken Fajita Plate
Ordered the Mexican dinner with chicken soft taco and sour cream chicken enchilada and ewww, it’s gross. I couldn’t even eat half the taco and the enchilada looks disgusting. Afraid to try that. Rosa’s used to be good or maybe it’s just the Mesquite location. I know I won’t be back. I would have been better off going to Taco Cabana or Taco Bell. More money thrown away.
