Visited here with a friend to try out their coffee and food. The rival breakfast sandwich was ok, but not what I expected. The arugula didn't taste fresh, and the sanwhich was spicier than I expected. Overall not amazing, but not bad.
I also ordered a hot mocha latte with oat milk, which was ok. Not as much chocolate flavor as I would have liked. They only offer 16oz sizes for hot drinks, so something to keep in mind. The donuts were delicious, tried the oreo and strawberry flavors, and both were really good.
While the food selection leaves something to be desired, the atmosphere is great. Very spacious and lots of seating with plenty of outlets. It's a nice place for a small meeting or friend gathering. Staff is very friendly and the service was great, our order was ready fairly quickly.

Love coming here! The coffee and tea are good! I usually order a drink that complements the monthly cold foam or a lavender vanilla latte. And also London fogs are really good here. Tried the island loco moco bowl it’s really good! The baristas here are always so positive and fun! Always leave with a smile here. It is a little bit pricier than other coffee/food places, but everything is good.

I love the food and coffee. Have had a few different items and everything has been delicious. I think the portions are a tad small for the cost but I really like this place a lot. The donuts are made in house but they seem to run out of them quite often so I wish they had a few more options of flavors too but overall I really love this place

Rival is definitely one of the best coffee shops within the Temecula/Murrieta area. They have a Large menu with great offerings. Their customer service is usually decent however shelby has consistently been rude and cold each time I visit. I understand food service is difficult but treating customers with respect and hospitality really goes a long way.
