My husband and I brought our 5 year old daughter here for ice cream.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and had even been willing to correct my daughter's order when I ordered her something that come to find out was not really what she wanted. We thanked them but asked her to keep what she had, but they were willing to do whatever it took to make sure that child had a great experience.
They were also helpful in making recommendations for my smoothie order.
As a small business owner myself I greatly appreciated the top notch service!
The place was super busy and it took about 30 min for us to get our ice cream.. while waiting we watched the kid make ice cream it was unsanitary. The kid had ice cream the whole way up and down his arm past the glove he was wearing. When he went to scoop different ice creams he would use a paper towel to wipe the old ice cream off. He also used the same glove he was scooping ice cream with to open the doors and grab new ice cream containers. There were two kids running this whole Ice cream shop. Whenever he scooped the ice cream he scooped one scoop to make a 16oz milkshake and told the girl he was working with “ I hope that’s enough to make a milk shake “, then she proceeded to fill it up to the absolute top with milk so it tasted like a glass of milk… would not recommend this place.
Save yourself the drive and money. Unfriendly workers who closed store prematurely at 8:39 when website says open until 9. Place looked inviting, but will not recommend based on service.
Wrong advertised hours - went on a Tuesday, said they were open online but they were closed. Guy comes out and says “they won’t open until Thursday” okay?? Change your hours.
My husband and I stopped by here with our sons because I had seen some great reviews online. Both of my boys ordered a shake, and we ordered a banana split to share. They came back and stated they had no vanilla ice cream, then stated no pineapple for the banana split. Then they stated they had no milk for the shakes. I also ordered without coconut on my banana split because I don't like it. Needless to say, 2 bites in, Coconut. Seriously, I'm unsure how they received the grand reviews. My husband thought maybe because they were a bunch of teens, but my 14-year-old works, and his boss would let me know if it wasn't up to par.
The ice cream was great. The staff was very friendly. The prices are a bit high though. If you're on vacation and craving dessert it's a good place to go as long as you're ready to spend.
