2/14/2024 Rick's Cafe 205 State St Los Altos, CA 94022 We ended up here for lunch since the place across the street had a 15 minute wait. It has a spacious clean setup with real furniture. Service was prompt, even after our order taker left at his shift change. The menu is mainly breakfast all day with some sandwiches and burgers. Wifey had the Hungry Rick with special ordered Blueberry pancakes and I had the Country Fried Steak special. Both were okay with good size portions. The signature item is that they feature toasted bagels instead of bread with their offerings. Value was okay but there are other similar DTLA places I prefer, so probably no repeat. Every time I'm in Los Altos during breakfast time I stop by Rick's and pick up an order the chilaquiles!They have plenty of great breakfast items but the red chilaquiles are my go to.
