You get nice meals. It is made from Věry quality ingredience. The pláče is small and cozy.

Not sure why this place has such great ratings. Perhaps there is no competition by an actually good restaurant in Tachov? Food is okay. Not great, not terrible. Somewhat italienasied/Internationalised Czech cuisine with low authenticity. Okay to sit by the river for a mix grill, but don't expect anything special combined with mediocre and slow service.

We visited the place twice, just to make sure we didn't get the wrong impression the first time. Noone speaks languages there and there is no menu in different than chech language. We tried with English, German and Russian. So you won't get any help for your order. Service is slow. Very slow, so don't go there hungry. We didn't see any of the dishes from the pictures here - perhaps they were available, but when noone is willing to help you... Food is OK, but nothing that you won't get elsewhere.

In our quest to get a great steak, we visited the River Restaurant in Tachov, CZ. €16 for a delicious steak, homestyle potatoes, awesome cheese soup and a Czech Dark Beer. We have found Nirvana Heaven! 5 Stars!

Outside dinner. Started to rain ☔️ A family moved their table further under the umbrella to continue eating and stay dry 👍 After the rain a manager came out wiping down tables and chairs and then told the family off for moving the table! 😳 He rebuked them saying something about not being allowed to move it despite the rain and their dinner 🙄 He proceeded to move it the one metre back out from the umbrella. Then got some glue to re-attach a leg spacer he'd knocked off. Oh, what great customer service ☹️
