Overall a great Chinese restaurant in Svolvaer. There was indeed a special Chinese menu where we found more authentic Chinese food. Service was friendly and fast, food was great. Our only gripe was that the steamed cod was not fresh, which we found shocking bcos we are in Svolvaer. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Friendly, attentive staff and great food. They give you a standard menu (black binding) but there is also a “secret menu” containing more traditional Chinese dishes which looked amazing. I had the steamed local cod (清蒸魚) and it takes about 20 minutes to prep but it was absolutely perfect, and I was very happy to support a local immigrant-owned business. If I were to come back I would try the pickled vegetable+tomato+egg soup. Great Asian restaurant on the water. We tried the wontons with crab and scallops for an app. Followed by the fried beef sweet and sour and the curry chicken. All the food was freshly made and the vegetables where fresh and firm. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something other then Norwegian classic dishes. Found hair in our food. We asked about this the waiter said “all our chefs are hairless and I don’t have long hair.” I was shocked at the quality of service. We also order dish number 20 in the menu. The waiter brought out number 19 when we asked that this was not what we have ordered, he said I am pretty sure you ordered number 19. Trying to put other words in my mouth, I am extremely familiar with Chinese Asian food and more importantly I know what I said!! Worst service mindset I have ever experienced and I normally review everything with 5 stars. I guess if you travel to this part of the world, it’s probably better to eat their local food rather than at this Chinese place Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Wanted to get some food on my trip with Hurtigruten. This was recommended by Google and it was good. Nice and modern restaurant, very friendly service. The food came very fast. I ordered medium spicy, but I needed more chili to get a spicy feeling. :) The prices are Norwegian tourist town level, so just be aware of that.
