When staying in Epen we walked one evening to this restaurant for dinner. No English menu was available and so choosing our food was a bit of a challenge but the steak and roasted trout we had were both very good and everything on the plate was to a high standard. The bowl of frites with mayo were also excellent. We sat on the lovely terrace and appreciated the sweeping Countryside views as we dined. Prices were what you would expect with the bill for 3 main meals and 3 soft drinks coming in at €86 Staff we clean, tidy and polite and service was efficient. Since my childhood we come annually to the Gerardushoeve for dinner and it never disappoints. The quiche as starter was delicious and the 3 variations of dear as main course very tasty. The service was friendly and on point. The red wine was very nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is just great. Looking forward to come back next year. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Was here last evening for dinner, lovely place, clean, beautiful scenery, good ambience, polite and nice staff and most important-good food. We enjoyed ourselves driving away from city and coming to this cool restaurant.We literally enjoyed the food and a must mention is their cheese cake.Must visit place.

We ate here for lunch with a group of 4 (+baby): we had burger, carpaccio and uitsmijter (egg on bread with ham and cheese). The view in this place is amazing especially when the weather is good (not in our case it was raining and foggy). Service was attentive! Must stop if you are visiting south Limburg, great pancakes and they have good vegetarian options too on the menu. And of course a great view. Message for staff: Please bring back waffles on your menu, your waffles with fresh cherries are the best I had in Netherlands.

The restaurant is situated at such a place that you can view the lands that fall in Germany and Belgium. The view outside is simply amazing. I had pancakes which was pretty good. The staff is friendly too. If you want to have a spectacular time dining with someone, go here.
