We went to de Beren yesterday before going to see a movie at Pathe. We ordered food for three children and a plate to share for adults (just for snacking). Both good and drinks (primarily water) was very overpriced! Even though the atmosphere was really nice the prices were simply too high for what you get. I would not go there again or recommend to others. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

We went as a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We went here especially because of the play area. The restaurant was seriously understaffed. Another kid had vomited in the play area, rendering it useless to play in. When informing the staff, the answer was: we have no time to clean. Ultimately this led us to request another table, since the smell was extremely unpleasant. The food portions were very small and the vegetarian saté was luke warm and served with a very small amount of fries. Desert was nice. Coffee was horrible. Great experience! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the service was extremely great! We went there for dinner last night. I don't know who the manager was on duty at the time, but she served us and compliments to her, the best service I have ever had at a restaurant!!! The only critique I have is about the food, it's not entirely great. We ordered the double cheese burger and the patties were smaller than the bun, and not just a bit. There was also a cold kind of omelette egg thing on the burger, it didn't taste bad, but the fact that it was cold was just a bit off. The cheese however was great! And so was the fries! Terrible experience Ordered a salmon for dinner which came cold inside, after having it back to the kitchen it came broken in half and slightly warm with the comment of “we serve it rosé only, so there’s nothing else I can do” Also, I got slightly overcharged for sodas and when I asked the server about the money difference with what it says on the menu they replied “that’s how we do it here” So basically, the menu prices are not right, and the food is bad. In fact, the menu did not say anywhere that the salmon was only cooked rosé, isn’t this important to mention? Imagine having steak and the restaurant only serves it rare cause that’s that’s how they do it. The window from inside the restaurant gives view to their storage and employees taking a smoke. So forget about good ambiance and nice views. After contacting the restaurant online, no feedback was given and I realized another overcharge. I was charged for sweet potatoes that we never ate. Maybe another location is better, but as for the Schiedam restaurant. I would give it a 0-star if I could. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Normally I would go there to eat the chicken Sate. But this time I was there during breakfast. I didn’t know they served American style pancakes 🥞…They were delicious and they have different flavors. I will go back to try them all!! Service Dine in Price per person €10–20

A really good place to eat, I don't really like de beren in Roosendaal but this one is really good, helpful staff and good food! I had spareribs for my main dish and the meat fell straight off of the bone, delicious!
