I have been to the Red Door Grill in Lenexa and I couldn't say enough great things about it. My mom and I were out near the one off 159th today and stopped in for dinner. Server was very nice but I asked for no beans on my nachos and I got beans. She offered to get me a new order and I declined, which I shouldn't have cause it was gross. I asked for a slice of turtle cheesecake to go and it was brought out to me on a plate. I told the guy I wanted it to go and he rolled his eyes and walked away. The server brought my to go cheesecake out and it had just been scraped off the plate and into the to go container. I was not offered a discount for the gross nachos. Also was awkwardly stared at by some worker guys that were coming out of the back room and one of them came over and asked if we were done with some plates. This wasn't a good experience. Looked up places to visit before coming to Overland Park and this restaurant was on the top of the list. My coworker and I visited on a Tuesday night and the place was packed! Always a good sign! We had the prime rib egg rolls for an appetizer they were delicious, my coworker had a French Dip it looked amazing and she loved it! I had the jalepeno battered chicken sandwich and 🙌🏽🙌🏽🤤 so good! The fries were top notch! The atmosphere of this place was buzzing which I love! The service was excellent! Definitely suggest coming here if you’re ever in the area! A great meal here with friends. The staff was super helpful and attentive. Refilled our drinks 5-6 times while we were there, you don't always find that. I had the enchiladas and they were really good. Back again 2 years later... Still got 4 refills on my drink. Management obviously has an excellent training regimen for new employees. great food. great service, cool atmosphere. The prime rib sandwich was very flavorful, perfect balance of horse radish and onions and a wonderful au jus. my wife had the ancho honey glazed chicken sandwich and it was great. My son had the sirloin steak and it was a perfect medium rare. For dessert we had the turtle cheesecake. it was delicious.
