We already knew this place has great food and entertainment, but had no idea they have breakfast until we were watching an episode of The Daytripper. Went back for breakfast and husband got the Texas Poutine and I got the breakfast tacos, both dishes did not disappoint! I was impressed because the salsa was homemade and reminded me of my grandmother's salsa. Our server Patty greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The potatoes were fresh, bacon was just the right mix of crispy and juicy, and the coffee was good. Patty was awesome about checking on us and keeping my coffee full. We went here based on the recommendation of friends and they were right. The food was great and the service excellent. Lots of people, friendly atmosphere, and good beers. We didn’t stay for the live music but they get some big names it seems. Performances start at 9:00. Next time we’ll stay. If you haven’t been here you need to go. If you have you need to go back. The Cobb salad is good, but NOT worth $16.50. The ingredients were fresh, but there wasn't nearly enough of them to charge that much. The salad came with half an egg, half a chicken breast, a tablespoon of bacon, cheese crumbles, and cheap filler vegetables like cucumber and canned black olives. The atmosphere has a ton of potential. However, they are storing supplies all over the restaurant. They have cases of soda stacked up against the wall in the dinning area. The first thing you see when you walk into the restaurant is the entire kitchen. They also store bathroom products all out in the open. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

RBT was pretty dreary and a bit dirty. Booth we sat in was ripped up and the other side was very uncomfortable to sit on. I think it could look very nice but just needs some work. Old tables and chairs, didn’t live up to the hype. Food was not so good. Ordered the $26 shrimp and grits. Under seasoned and so oily. Absolutely not worth that price. Sister got pistachio chicken- bland and not worth the $20-$25 price. Appetizer fries- again under seasoned and tasted old. Service was great though, no complaints there. Server was very attentive. The food was spectacular, and the service was superb. The carnitas tacos were tasty and succulent with great spice. The fries were perfectly cooked, crisp outside, fluffy inside. Our waiter was both professional and engaging and answered all our questions. It was a bit crowded with boxes because they were receiving an order of supplies; however, the overall experience was wonderful. Small, nostalgic and excellent! The hubs says they have the BEST collard greens ever. The French onion soup was good and the meatloaf was delish along with the French fries. It’s a scratch kitchen and you can certainly tell. Also loved the green chili cornbread! The pizza looks delicious and we are going back to try it soon. Full bar, craft beers, live music (gospel brunch on Sunday) and a really cool atmosphere; this is place my #1 go to! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great atmosphere and great bloody Mary’s . It’s Sunday and Gospel music from the Jim Sloan group plays while Kathleen and I enjoy their BBQ Meatloaf with mashed potatoes. A cold pint of Bearded Fox Aunt Rose Helles Lager makes it complete. Red Brick Tavern. Is very old school tavern. I love the 1950s style rock and roll, and blues feel. The location is amazing in old downtown Conroe. The parking is easy and always available. I haven't even mentioned the food. Which is excellent. We had The Memphis pizza. All homemade dough and sauce. All fired in an old Red Brick pizza Oven. Hence the name. If you find your way by Conroe on 45 and you fancy an old pizza and a retro atmosphere do yourself a favor and stop in.
