Great gallery with a variety of art collections. The adjacent wine bar is good for a glass or for holding a special event. Staff is friendly and the space is lovely.
R Gallery isn't just an art gallery-- erase this image from your mind. It's a fun and classy spot to take your date and your friends for an evening of art, drinks, food, conversation, and various events. Rob, the owner, is a great guy and an excellent host, and the other employees at the bar and in the gallery are equally enthralling and you just can't help but to quickly make friends. Yes, we have purchased several pieces of art and jewelry here to decorate our home and to give as gifts. We've also come here for several very fun events, from improv comedy to poetry open mic night-- it took us a while to realize there's a full-on events calendar here (you should check it out). What really grabs me about R Gallery is the relationships that are made-- from meeting the artists themselves, to the staff, and the contacts Rob has with various other artists in the area. There was a necklace my girlfriend liked by a local artist and Rob moved both heaven and earth to get me in touch with the artist and have it personally delivered on-site for me in time for Christmas! This is more than a simple business relationship-- to me, R Gallery is a partner in both art and the community and in friendship.
Stumbled on this place while visiting Boulder and loved the beer + art combo. - our two favorite things! I bought some amazing and unique jewelry from a few artists. Loved so much more of it. The owner and wine bar manager were both super nice.
We stopped in on a Monday afternoon and were so pleased with the great service and beautiful art. We were made feel very welcome by all employees on site, even though they were clearly very busy setting up new artwork. The wine was delicious! We were given great suggestions for new wine to try and even new ways drink wine we already love. Definitely a must visit when in Boulder! Also, the cheesecake is to die for!!
Such a lovely concept! Hubby and I were pleasantly surprised by the wine selection, and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. We got to speak with the owner, and she knows so much about the artwork, you can really feel how passionate she is about her work.
The artwork is by a range of artists. There were many conversation pieces, in a bouquet of styles, making it difficult to give each one it's due attention! I will be redecorating our home in the Spring, and I definitely plan to return often for inspiration and to watch for that perfect statement piece!
his is a wonderful place to host an event. My family and I rented out the wine bar and gallery for a memorial service reception and it could not have been more perfect. It was a sad and stressful situation, but Rosey, Kim, Rob, and team made it something wonderful.
The food was delicious, the service impeccable, the wine selection was superb, and all of the AV stuff (which I was extra worried about) - slideshow, music playlist, microphone - all worked perfectly. Plus, it's air conditioned - perfect for a summer event.
I did exhaustive research around Boulder on where to host our event with nearly 60 people. Kim and Rosey were the most responsive, the most welcoming, and the most helpful if anyone I corresponded with. We had ample space and could have easily fit in over twice that many people with room to spare.

A "must visit" for Boulder. Modern and casual bar with a sublime selection of local art and photography. Their homemade cheesecake is honestly to-die-for. If you're looking for a fun space for you and your friends to get a taste of Third-Eye Boulder, you've found it.
Rob, the owner, takes advantage of local artists. We’re poor local artists. He advertises up to 12 submissions and charges for each one but knows very well he’s not accepting them, but still keeps your money. On top of that, he takes a 50% commission if something sells. 30% is max any gallery should take. He’s taking advantage and needs to be out of business.
