This bar and Old Town can be both really attractive for tourists. Serving nicely cooked cheese pizza, hamburgers and fried fish is the hallmark of Pumphouse. Here you will be able to taste good Brezeln and tasty waffles. This place offers delicious craft beer, martinis or draft beer among its drinks. The cosy atmosphere of this spot makes visitors feel relaxed and have a nice time. The cute staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. In town for dad's surgery stopped by for lunch with my sister and her boyfriend. Sandwiches were really good and love the choice of music and atmosphere outside table. Angie was an amazing waitress very quick, professional and attentative. Prices are fair, won't break your wallet. I'll be back next time I'm in Wichita 4 sure!! I’ve been coming to Pumphouse for about 2 years and the food and drinks are always great! Food comes in a pretty hefty proportion size for a great price. Beer is fairly priced as well. Love the environment. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The cook here has been on point. We had the fried chicken breast sandwich and the full service pizza Monday - excellent! We got the fried chicken sandwich again & fish & chips tonight (Wednesday) - WOW excellent again. It is like they want you to come back! Great prices too! I have probably written this review a hundred times but it’s always been too difficult. This past summer, we gave our precious boy Hank, his last best day on earth. We ventured out to Pumphouse since they allowed dogs so we could grab a small bite before having to say goodbye. Not knowing what to expect, I have to say the staff and service completely blew me away. They didn’t know it was Hanky’s last day but they treated him like a king. We sat outside on the patio, they brought him water with ice, gave us a doggy menu, brought him his own cheeseburger, and gave him so much love and attention… Beyond the food and service for Hank, our food and service for us was outstanding as well. I would recommend this place to anyone! I can’t thank the staff enough for not only making Hanks last day but also giving us such a wonderful last memory with our boy. We haven’t been back since just because it’s been difficult but we are hoping to return each summer on his anniversary to remember him! The food is phenomenal, the surface is phenomenal, everything is outstanding, but each time I’ve gone so far there has been this creepy dude who shows up. He had previously followed me, and my date to our car along with two other men. As he entered the restaurant, we felt unsafe and wanted to leave. obviously, this isn’t on the restaurant, they’ve actually done a very helpful hand in watching him for us and making us feel safe as possible while eating our meal and leaving.
