This particular Publix is a big, clean, and bright grocery store in Mechanicsville, VA (outside Richmond). We stopped here for a PUB SUB Lunch because this location was right off Interstate Highway 64E on the way from DC to Hampton Roads. 5 Star RECOMMENDATION: Get the Buffalo Chicken Pub Sub. You will not be disappointed!

Our power was out right at dinner one night, so I stopped by Publix to get what used to be amazing fried chicken. I don't typically shop there. The chicken was dried out, the box was missing several pieces and the price was outrageous. I poked around and checked prices on produce and meat. 😳 Way higher than other stores in the area.
