Nice terrace on the water. Large choice of beers. Good advices to pick yours. Best place in Alkmaar to enjoy some typical Dutch spirit! The staff are so lovely and knowledgeable! The beer.... well clearly the best in Alkmaar because of the amount of different beers they have. Wait until you see the terrace, AMAZING!!

I can’t believe I’ve not already reviewed this place. Been here many times as I have a local Dutch friend. Nice place on the water. Popular with the locals. Ok tap selection. Better bottle selection.

Nice place to hangouts, they have some tables outdoor on top of a boat. You can get part view of the cheese market and the canal. Plenty choices of beers! We enjoyed it :)

Good service, nice people and lots of different types of beer. What more do you need 😉 During rush hours it can get a bit packed, I recommend going early. There is also a beer museum above the bar, you can take a tour that will end with a beer tasting in the bar.
