If you're in the Tulum/Akumal/Chemuyil area do not hesitate to book a private meal with Chef Adela. She is extremely talented, aside from being the kindest person on earth. We were on a family trip celebrating the fact that my mom and husband's dad made it through cancer treatments in 2023...and we were also celebrating our beloved dog's 10th birthday. This was the perfect way to mark the event and Chef Adela was such a good sport decorating for his birthday (we didn't ask, she just did it). The ambiance is jovial, the secluded location in the rainforest is magical (might be worth a trip in the daytime), the food is exquisite and prepared with care, and the intimacy of the event can't be accomplished anywhere else. Chef Adela is a true gem. We were so glad we took a chance based on Google reviews and booked. An unforgettable experience.

This Chef experience was recommended by a friend. We went here for dinner. It is not a restaurant in the traditional sense...but cooking by a local Chef in the comfort of her home. There is a large table setting that awaits you. You can watch them prepare dinner. Bring your own wine! Then enjoy the food experience. The table presentation is lovely. Then, we enjoyed tasting everything from soup through dessert! It was delicious. We had everything from fish, lamb, salads, veggies, soup, and homemade tortillas. It was a fun & memorable experience!

Incredible experience with Chef Adela.
Everyone including my fussy 8 year old and my vegetarian partner loved our dinner.
A lot of it was organically grown in her garden which makes it extra special.
Not to mention the service we had, Adela is so sweet and the food made with love.
We wish we would return for breakfast but we had to travel early!
We visited Chef Adela's for a private birthday dinner. When we arrived, Chef Adela and her sous chef greeted us outside with balloons and a special gift. The decorations and the balloons were very nice.
Once inside, we felt like family, but were treated like royalty. We talked, laughed, and enjoyed the excellent prepared meal. The food was incredible. We started with a salad, followed by soup, and then lamb chops and lobster. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the sauce on the lobster was delicious. There were many different flavors of tortillas.
At the end of the night, Chef Adela played Happy Birthday by Stevie Wonder while she brought out a chocolate cake!

I am a picky eater, and this was my favorite meal on our trip — for only about $60 Usd per person you get an incredible multi-course meal. Everything was approachable and was created with the BEST flavors -- joy being a key ingredient. DEFINITELY come hungry!! The fish was amazing, the colorful tortillas were fun, and I would eat the cake over and over again. A memorable experience at a private chef’s home in the jungle. Would 1000% come back.

We went there twice for dinner, 1st time we pre-advised her our preferences which she accommodated without problem, and 2nd time, we let her be the boss! We thoroughly enjoyed not only her cooking, but also her great company!! Booking in advance is recommended.

What I am supposed to say apart from FANTASTIC! It was so good, I’ve been here twice!
While this is not a typical restaurant, Adela still invited us and prepared an amazing dinner that I loved so much, I had to go back.
The great thing about it: YOU are the only guest, the food is mostly entirely from local and 100% from natural ingredients.
Taste wise I was more than pleased and definitely recommend to anyone giving it a try as it’s incredibly amazing.
Adela itself is a cool with experience and a super happy and welcoming person. She knows how to comfort you and help you getting the best out of the experience.
This place is made for you, even if you’re a bit further away.
This was by far the best experience we have ever had! Chef Adela was phenomenal,she cooks with such passion and love. Her food was just delicious with so much flavor and originality. Wow! I wish I could rate the experience with 6 stars. Vibrant, colourful, exotic and so homey all at the same time.
It felt like we are visiting a sweet relative who’s also a magician in the kitchen.
Truly some of the absolutely best food we’ve eaten during our 3 week+ stay in Mexico.
Adela radiates positivity and love for her art - cooking! And she’s absolutely incredible at it.

An intimate dining experience in the jungle of Tulum! Chef Adele is an amazing! She has worked in multiple countries and with top class chefs. It is very special that she opens her home to let us enjoy her cooking and in her dining room. She is passionate about food and giving folks a beautiful experience. Every single course was delicious and every dish was made with local, fresh and organic ingredients. There was so much food and so many different flavors - we were full but we still wanted to eat more!
I have never had so many different varieties of tortillas and each one was delicious.
Highly recommend this experience if you want to be away from the crowd of Tulum and have an intimate dining experience.
