Service is outstanding, but food leaves a lot to be desired in terms of freshness, appearance, and flavor, especially for the price. That being said, the dessert offerings were satisfying. The guy at the grill was great!! He made exactly what I asked for and it tasted great!!!!! The sugar free pie tasted moldy and old. The sugar free jello was gummy like it had sat there for days. Make sure you finish by the time they close or the waitress will take the plate you are eating right out of your hand and throw it away and tell you “it is time to go”! Even though they are still cleaning you are not allowed to finish what is on your plate! Don’t bother telling a manager, because they will act like you are lying and tell you to “have a great day!” In their most artificial voice they can!! I would say this is not the best place to eat. The food is not that great and it is expensive. Most of it tastes like it has sat in the warmer too long or someone else ate it first. Maybe that is why they steal your plate while you are still eating it!! Also make sure you ask for the senior price because they can not tell your 81yr. Old father is a senior. We came for seafood night, and boy, did we see food! We gave a food a two out of five because at least they had baked potatoes. Unfortunately, the salmon cakes were what I imagine wet cat food tastes like. The beef was like leather straps and was a flavor we've never quite tasted before. The lettuce was dirty. We recommend mixing the mac n cheese with the rice pilaf. For service, we give one star. The atmosphere, however, was just tremendous due to the caliber of people there. Children were beating their parents at the dinner table - where else can you see that? Certainly not at Hoss's Steak & Sea. On balance, we are so impressed we are considering renting the whole place out for a birthday in 2024. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

First time at this restaurant. Our waitress was fantastic. The employees are super nice. The " all you can eat " buffet was filled often. The food was great. The restaurant was really clean. We really enjoyed our lunch here. Great place to eat when you are hungry. The selection was good. The more we walked around, the more food we saw. It's tucked away in every corner. The past 3 visits we were disappointed in the food selection. Chicken was dry as was the meatloaf. The haluski was under cooked for our satisfaction. Green beans were mushy. Pie was very skimpy. The service was terrific. Plates were cleaned promptly and drink refills were offered as soon as they were empty. Everyone was friendly. Very good food over all except the meatloaf is terrible looking & tastes terrible too! Saurkraut is really amazing w/pork, deserts are homemade there I believe 😋 super good. Price isn't bad either, staff are very kind. Me & my husband go here several times a yr. live an hour or more away. Well worth the trip. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I don't know how you can screw up water but even that was not up to par. Mash potatoes were ok if you've never eaten it before. For the price I thought that I could get a decent meal but I was wrong. If I could give negative stars I would have. Starving kids in Africa wouldn't eat this. So in closing, if you're from human society, you're better off staying far far far far away from this establishment. I wouldn't feed this to a stray cat..... I hate cats. We love going here when we are in Altoona! The food is fantastic!! Fresh and hot all the time. I love to get the sirloin steak off the griddle. Also the BBQ ribs, chicken wings, and pretty much everything else!!! This place would do so well if they had locations here in Ohio!!!! Golden Coral is Garbage compared to this place!!! I wish I had a million dollars I would open up 2-3 of these buffets in Ohio! The wait staff is so very courteous and professional. The food is fantastic. Doesn't seem like freezer bag/boxes food like golden coral. If we had one of these here near us we would go 3x a week! $14.99 ?? Are you kidding!!!!??? What a deal!!! We also went across the parking lot to the arcade. They have fair games that are electronic so you can have a lot of fun!! Loved it! Staff is a little aloof/cold but if you're looking for a buffet in this area, you can't go wrong with Prime Sirloin. Food variety goes well beyond "prime sirloin." Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
