Primal in Saskatoon is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is cozy yet modern and the decor is unique, with furs and vintage pieces setting the mood. The service is excellent and the staff are attentive, happy to suggest dishes and able to accommodate dietary restrictions. The food is top-notch, with all dishes made from scratch and incorporating local ingredients. The house made fried bread was delicious, served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The bison carpaccio was earthy and flavourful, with pickled walnuts adding a nice crunch. The tagliatelle and spaghetti carbonara were both cooked to perfection and had amazing flavours. The dessert options sounded delicious, and the aperol spritz was a great accompaniment. Prices are on the higher end but worth it for the quality of the food. Highly recommend Primal if you're looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience!
