Food was good, but about $15 more than the steaks are priced on the website. Service was good, the ambiance left a lot to be desired, very outdated, about as noisy as a bowling alley also. Everything was MID! Very underwhelming. Calamari was not that hot. Salads were fine. We ordered the steak medallions....medium. they came out very well done. Potato was fine. But not worth the price. We told the waitress. She was great. We got free desserts to compensate for the steaks. That was nice but I doubt we'll be back. First time at the restaurant for Valentines Day. We were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was perfect. The crab cakes are AMAZING(full of crab and not filler). I had the lobster bisque as well,it was ok(NO lobster bits were added, which made me question how they get the lobster flavor if no lobster is used). My entree was the pork chop. I NEVER order pork chops at restaurants, but let me tell you... the pork chop was amazing. Cooked to perfection, not dry with lots of flavor, and it's a double bone pork chop. Dined at Porter’s for an enjoyable evening. The restaurant boasts cleanliness, though the decor, was slightly dated, but contributed to an overall satisfying ambiance. We indulged in mini Beef Wellington appetizers – a creative concept, though a few puff pastries were undercooked. My Beef loins with shrimp were delicious but arrived cold, indicating a lapse in plate timing. Despite this, the flavor remedied the overall dish. My wife's Surf & Turf lobster was a delight, both our meals were accompanied by refreshing Mediterranean salads, albeit slightly overdressed. Also, my son had a chicken Caesar salad. It I supposed was good. Heard no complaints. Serving three, our bill, which included only water to drink and the fore mentioned meals, totaled nearly $300, diminishing the perceived high-end experience. Despite commendable atmosphere and service, the mismatch between meals and price leaves room for improvement. Considering the cold plate and expense, we may explore alternative dining options. We went out to celebrate my sister's birthday. My salmon was dry and overcooked. My husband ordered his steak medium, it was dry and overcooked. When speaking to a manager, he mentioned that all the food is charbroiled yet the steaks looked more like charcoal than steaks. He did acknowledge them being pretty dark and the best he could offer was a discount off the food, dessert or remake it all. It was already after 8 close to 9 when we received our food and they close at 10. No thank you on the remake. We already had dessert because again it was my sister bday so there was cake. So they took 10% off the total bill. Mine you it was a party of 15 of us, the bill was over $500 and all they could do is 10% off. My husband and I been before and everything was nice and good then, yet last night experience was not good at all. I usually take pictures of my food, this time I didn't because I was so disappointed. I couldn't believe my eyes. I will not be back ! I came with a party of 15 and only 4 of us ordered steak ! All the steaks were burnt to a crisp , so tuff I could barely chew it ! I understand one steak getting burnt but all 4 that’s ridiculous ! If I’m paying 41$ for a steak I expect it to be cooked properly! Servers were pleasant and nice but our food was definitely rushed ! All together our meal was 565$ plus a 110 gratuity . The manager only took off 10% basically only one steak ! I have had better steak at Texas road house and it’s a first and last time for me !
