This place is beautiful inside with a cool and chill environment. Our waitress was well versed on the menu and had a full explanation of menu items along with recommendations for everyone in our group. In our group we had people aged 6-40+ and we all enjoyed all the food we ordered. We especially liked that the meals are served family style so everyone was able to taste all the selections. It’s clear that all the ingredients are fresh, hot and absolutely delicious!!
Thanks for the incredible service and food, we’re excited to be back!

Everything we tried was delicious and filling! The salt and pepper calamari lived up to the hype. Flavorful food without overwhelming spice. I'll definitely be back!

This place has a very interesting menu. Was in a rush so I just woofed down some starters. The food was delicious, nice presentation, I could probably have eaten 3 more roti ball things. Service and atmosphere was excellent, I will wear something nicer than gym clothes next time and try an entree.
A good spot if you're in the area.

Satay Skewers Half & Half
Service was great from the hostess to our waiter. We have a 3 year old and it is always nice when the waiter is mindful and makes the experience nice for us ans our daughter. I only knocked it 4 stars because everyone has been talking about this place and it's possible our expectations exceeded the experience itself.
However, the food wasn't bad, it was actually really good, just not what we expected. The Spicy chicken noodles were good especially when you add a bit of spicy paste and limes. The pork dumblinngs were not very good in my opinion and felt a bit lack luster. My wife got the lamb with the ulong noodles and it also wasn't as expected. It was a very home food at grandmas taste and style of food, but that is also hit or miss on certain items.
Altogether we were satisfied but I don't think we would come back again as I felt I can get the same food other places that met more my taste.

first, the appearance. it is amazing. the space is small, but doesn't feel crammed, and instead gives a comfy urban feeling with dimmed lights and neon lights.
secondly, the food is absolutely incredible. i wanted more roti canai long after we had finished it, the sizzling tofu was delicious, the hainanese chicken was amazing when eaten with the sauce and rice, and the satay beef skewers were very unique but mouth-watering too.
roti canai (8.7/10)
sizzling tofu (8.1/10)
hainanese chicken (8.4/10)
satay beef skewer (7.9/10)

Interior and service are nice. Food is meh.
Quickly seated, nice interior design, service is fast attentive.
The food however was bad. Malaysian chicken curry was completely bland. Chicken was white and dry. The Goreng had barely a flavor too. Was quite disappointed from such high rated place

Eating at Phat was a pleasant experience. Service was prompt. We had the Roti Canai, Malaysian Fried Rice and Malay Hor Fun noodles. The curry served with the Roti Canai was very similar to homemade Indian stew. The Fried rice was awesome, but, the noodles was a little bland to our taste.

The food here is delicious. The service is top notch. Jackie did a great job helping me understand the menu on my first visit. There were many options for my diet preferences and the quality of the food was very good. I can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu.

Phat Eatery is a terrific place for delicious Malay food in a great neighborhood and a well kept restaurant. We had a wonderful server who made recommendations, and ended up with the 'feed me' tasting menu for our party (~50-60 a person?)
The appetizers we had were roti and the salt and pepper calamari, which were both very well received. Our entrees were the Malay chicken curry, CK Teow, sizzling beef and pepper, and the salt and pepper lobster tails. The chicken was tender, the noodles in the Teow were delightfully springy, the beef was juicy, and the lobsters were creamy - all of which were absolutely amazing. So far, the flavors have been the best of any Malay restaurants I've had in this area.

Long time ago it had halal option. Now they have lots of vegetarian options. Food was good and well spiced. We went for lunch and they gave us their regular menu. However, my friend caught this and asked for the lunch menu almost 20 min later. We thought they would come and give it at some point. We ordered the ruti canai, sizzling tofu, wok fried chili and a noddles. We asked for the no.4 spice level. I would go for no. 5 next time. Noddles was on the sweet side. I think because of the peanuts in there. Ruti canai was ok but the dipping sauce was the kicker to taste it better. Wok fried chili was good and so was sizzling tofu. Tofu was very different then the usual tofu dish. The outer layer was crunchy while the inside stayed soft. The sauce on it was good too. Staff was always on the rush. Restaurant was not busy as usual. There are days where the waiting line is 45 min. However the staff were cordial and friendly. Place is clean but sticky. The ambient is dark with low light. Go early or make a reservation ahead so that you can avoid the waiting.
