We had coffees, a smoothie and two types of croissant. All excellent. Lovely buttery flaky croissants. It’s not cheap but this is not average baking either. We bought extras for the road. Also great artwork and poems that made our 12 year old very thoughtful. Lovely chill place.

The food was very good (but pricey) and the restaurant is clean, if a bit stark. That's the positive.
We really aren't "to-go" people and prefer to dine in. Sadly, the restaurant isn't really set up for dining in. It is counter service only and the counter staff didn't seem particularly happy to see us. Once our order was ready, it took three trips from the counter to get the order to table. Then it was another trip to get sweeteners, cream, stirrers, napkins, utensils, etc. And the only creamer is in a large thermal pitcher, so you either have to carry your coffee to the creamer or the creamer to the table (which may be frowned upon). Considering the cost of the food, I'd rather not have to act as my own server.
As a to-go joint, it seems to work better. Go in, order food, sit around at a table to wait for your order, grab your bag, visit the extras station for napkins, straws, etc. and go. If that's your thing, you'll probably appreciate this place a bit more than we did.
