Ya'll go there!!! It's a hidden gem in the countryside of Athens, Ga. The veggie pizza I had was so delicious! I will be back with my daughter and Grandson soon. Thank you all for preparing my pizza on Thursday Feb 29th. And thank you Patrick Mercardante for the invite.
Peppino's Pizzeria another favorite dine-in or dine-out restaurant of mine, I highly recommend.

I'm in love. This is what an Italian restaurant is supposed to taste like... Grazie Peppino's!
First experience (see above) was amazing, but my second was one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. There was almost no toppings, the meat was was over cooked and dry. There was almost no cheese on a cheesesteak. They cut the bread in such a way that my entire meal experience was bread (see photo). It was awful. We dropped over $40 on two sandwiches and one desert and I couldn't be less satisfied.
On the service side they told me the order would take 30 to 35 minutes and when I got there inside 25 minutes the order was already waiting... by the time I got it home, eight minutes away, everything was luke warm to cold.
My first experience was incredible, but to fall so far in nearly every category on my second order makes me unlikely to order from them again. Peace.

So, I've decided to rate a total of five visits on the road back to five stars. In order to return my review back to five stars they have to score four stars or better on each return. Peppino's is back up to three stars. Great Pizza.

The antiposta was Not fresh and crispy the lettuce was a little wilted and the meat and cheese was melted together like it's been sitting. And the meat seemed like it was a couple days old.
