Patches' now has a most adorable little shop/stand on Ferndale's Main Street! Everything I have tried from them has become my favorite -- so I can't choose just one thing to recommend. The love put into these delectables is obvious and my only complaint is that I am going to get even chonkier, ha! LOVE this place and you will too.

My partner and I came here to try this place out -- and then we got hooked to their puff pastry delights and then we came back EVERYDAY they were open to buy several treats. Our favourites were: raspberry danish (puff pastry), blackberry danish (puff pastry), and the chocolate croissants. This is one of the best veinnoiserie in this country.
I would come back to Ferndale, CA just to eat their puff pastries. :)

I should’ve written this months ago, but the baked goods that Patch and Tate pump out of this sweet little spot are simply perfect. My wife and I stayed in our RV in the fairgrounds for a few months and this was such a highlight and joy to have near. Patch worked with me to get a custom order for tiramisu done for my wife on short notice and with great care and very reasonable prices. Everything is so good, and sleeper treat is the Portuguese rice pudding! So much good going on at this place. Do yourself a favor and go, then go again.

Listen, I was already in love with Patches Pastries due to their delicious danishes but holy moly I just had a bear claw and oh my goodness! Flakey, sweet, and chewy, with a perfect balance of buttery and melt in your mouth tastiness .. So good, thanks for creating such amazing treats Patch!

We had two unexpected pleasures while visiting Ferndale today. The first was a visit to Patches Pasteries which is housed at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds. These two guys make some amazing pastries, cookies, cakes, candies, and other breakfast and dessert delights. It was a little bit of a hunt to find them but the rewards were worth it.
