This is a dining experience for anyone who wants to experience rural northeastern Wyoming foods and culture. The food is amazing with local Buffalo from Durham Ranch, Wright Wyoming. The people are friendly and embody an era of America in the 1950s that is seen on “classic” movies. Residents love their town with activities such as homemade chili and Bingo at the library for families and residents of Wright. Stop by the Open Range Restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

Food and service was great. The Ribeys steaks were delicious but could have used a bit of seasoning. They were cooked just as we asked though. The salad bar has a lot to choose from but has very small plates and a tacky sign that says something about 1 trip only!?!?!

Had a company meeting here. The service was amazing.there was 7 of us they took our orders and surprised us by getting every persons order right.They were very attentive and we never even wanted for water. The manager went out of her way to supply steaks that they used to have on the menu but sadly don’t anymore. Hands down the best steak I have ever ate. Would definitely recommend this restaurant in the future

Staff was kind, we were seated as soon as we arrived, good meat that was cooked very well. And that’s really all that was positive about the experience. Food was cold and bland, mashed potatoes were instant, salad bar was something you’d see at a cheap chain buffet, and staff did not bother to check on us apart from taking our order and bringing the check (and there was only 4 parties of people there, right at dinner time). Also looked around to observe that multiple other people there had only taken a couple of bites of their food before getting their check. I just feel like for the prices and atmosphere of this restaurant, they could be doing A LOT better. LASTLY, if whoever owns this place is reading this… PLEASE GET NEW CHAIRS!!! Thought I was gonna fall through when I sat down and felt like toddler sitting up to the table trying to eat.

Breakfast is decent staff is friendly , however the cable does not work and it appears they do not wanta fix it , there answere was a roku box which would be great but they assume everyone has Netflix and or prime and if that isn't bad enough the wifi is so weak it won't stay connected. The bed are very firm and the pillow are flat as a sheet of ply wood . If they had of fixed the TV today they wouldn't be getting a bad review however this is the 3rd day I have asked for it to be fixed.

Salad bar was good. Mashed potatoes were real red potatoes and not instant which was great. Only reason it's a 4 star and not 5. The restaurant was very warm inside and the cut of sirloin steak could have been nicer. The sirloin steak to me didn't seem up to standard for a sirloin seemed like a cheaper cut. Attractively appointed restaurant with dining choices unique to the local area. Buffalo Steaks, and Burgers from the Durham Bison Ranch across the Road! All entrée selections include a well stocked Salad Bar. Menu selection is small, but has enough variety to allow for frequent visits. Convenient location attached to the Wright Hotel. As a guest of the Hotel, I visited several evenings in a row. Staff was friendly, and attentive. Alicia waited on our group on several evenings, and provided exceptional service. She ensured that we were well taken care of, and drinks arrived promptly! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

They rates were great for the room and it was clean. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. They only thing that was shocking, he was told a full breakfast was available in the morning. At 0800 we went for breakfast and it was not a full breakfast. Really didn't have much to choose from so we just grabbed a cup of orange juice and checked out of the room.

We ended up here after being chased out of our original route with tornadoes in the area! The hotel is clean, efficient, and well appointed. Comfortable beds! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a nice stop if you're traveling thru Wright, WY.
