Great apps, and if you can catch the early and late happy hour, the prices for the bar-side apps are wonderful! The atmosphere in the bar was fantastic, and the beer selection enormous! I do seriously miss my old Old Chicago - Apple Valley location, though. Damn COVID-19! It was a casualty of corona. Service last night was a bit tough, they were short some staff, I think. The boneless, fried, chicken tenders were FANTASTIC, offered with multiple dipping sauces, served hot, crunchy, and real white breast chicken. Delicious with the multiple beers I had last night! Of course, 2,000 calories later, I'm paying for it today, haha. Location in EP is great, right off the 494 freeway, and centrally located. Ambiance inside is inviting and comfortable. Not many people sitting in the restaurant side last night, most in the bar. LOTS of TV's with lots of options to watch. Friendly and happy staff, though they were really moving last night. Good luck to the bartender who will have her baby sometime this spring! She's been there every time I've visited this OC. Great atmosphere to curl up and relax and have a few beers! Good drinks n ok food . Service was terrible, the server kept talking loud as if we were short of hearing. Didn’t help with questions on portions . Then got very frustrated with splitting the bill . Could’ve easily shared that it was going to be hard to split the bill due to their system issues . Instead almost threw the bills on our tables because had to redo them . No one was rude to her , but felt it was ok for her to be rude to the customers .. wonder why ! We made sure to give feedback . It was a very busy Sunday afternoon. We had to wait a good 20 minutes to be seated. Half the seats weren't being used. Might be understaffed or something? But, the food was delicious! We love Old Chicago, but not many left. To have a couple craft beers even with food and drive is well worry some. I'll still keep going. Love the pizza. This last our server Camille was awesome and welcomed us back as always. Got 50% since it had been some time since we're there last ( bonus ). Only complaint I would have is my other half and I didn't care for what they had for IPA'S, or craft list this month. If that's it, then it's not a complaint. See you next time! I came from out of town and needed something quick to eat. After doing some searching for the area I was in, I came across Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom. I ordered carryout and THIS is what $22.97 paid for. These "wings" are $10 by themselves and THIS is what I received. (I opened this box as soon as I got to my car, no exaggeration). The taste was very mediocre and I was very disappointed and annoyed by what I received. This wasn't worth $22.97, not even worth $15. Have been a few times now and it's always good. On the pricier side especially with drinks lol Their burger was awesome, got sweet potato fries and a side ceasar, I was mot disappinted. We got the Tuscan chicken pizza on ale crust this time, it was so good. Wish the spinach was diced and sprinkled instead of plopped in the middle but other wise delish. I really like that they break down how much was spent on each category at the bottom of the receipt, haven't seen that before. Beer options are a plenty, something for everyone. The food was delicious and affordable. I was shocked to get a half pound burger with fries for $13! My son got a calzone that was the size of the plate for $12! Our server was good and gave good food suggestions. The booth seats has crumbs on both sides when we sat down but the place was clean. I got the Sicilian pizza rolls from the appetizer menu and they were amazing! My friend ordered a deep dish pizza that he had to share with me and that was so good too :) everyone in my party loved what they got. This is our go to stop for late nights after 10 pm…great selection of food, specially vegetarian options, good option for beverages, ample amount of space for small and big groups, multiple options to find a seat for your choice, bar, booth, patio, regular tables…good price point and most importantly, it opens late night which we prefer. We been to this place multiple times and never been dissatisfied or disappointed, great service all the time no matter how much it’s crowded. Try their mushroom starter and artichoke dip.
