A brewery in Sioux Falls. The taproom was inviting and overlooked the production facility. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is a place I would go to hang out with friends, as well as bring the kids. Plenty of beer on tap, so they have something for everyone. Pizza, appetizers and sandwiches on the food menu.

Love Obscure Brewing! The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. Couple that with helpful, knowledgeable staff and, you’ve got a winner. I love Barrel Aged Enhanced Shadow Particles but can’t afford it. So I gladly settled for Octoberfest! I will definitely be back as soon as possible! UPDATE: Sunday morning brunch pizza! Eggs, sausage and mozzarella cheese… delicious. Then add Belgian Mimosa beer! Great way to wrap up the weekend.
Great beer selection! I love that they have 5oz pours. We also got the jalapeno popper pizza, which was different and delightful. Our bartender may have been new - he seemed befuddled by our beer orders and was very slow, but he was kind and it's nothing we can't overlook. Looking forward to coming back and trying more beers in the future!

Great place to hangout. They have a nice patio on the west side of the building. The pizza is a thin crust style and has good flavor. Plenty of beer options to try as well!
As the first brewery within Sioux Falls on the East side, this is an exciting business to have open. Even more exciting is the exceptional grounds, staff, and budding beer going on here. First off, the whole design and layout is great; the brewery being featured in a sunken stage with wide windows to allow you to see what's going on. The staff really take the cake as well and are all really excited to show you what they have to offer, and throw you suggestions as well. With a wide tap handle setup, It's exciting to see they are prepared to grow and offer a large selection. But for now as of their opening in 2019 their beers are a treat to try. They do all seem to lean on the light side in flavor, but I almost always see new breweries start out like this. If you're looking for more kick I guarantee that you will find it if you come back a few months down the line. They seem excited to try new things, and even offer up lower ABV styled beers which excites me. As of writing this, I'll review what they had on tap roughly in order of my favorites. Chronophobia: They say it's a NE IPA, but I feel it's a bit off the normal flavor for a New England. That's not to say it is not tasty! Great example of an IPA that's easy to drink and will not leave you with the feeling of eating a pinecone. Backross Belgium Blueberry: Really tasty, easy to go down, and apparently thought up by the brewers wife with no brewing experience. Which is surprising as it's one of my favorites here, showing they truly have some exceptional stuff coming down the line with the staff they have creating recipes. Pace Yourself Amber: Besides the IPA, this probably has the second fullest flavor punch in the lineup right now. It's a great amber, though a bit on the lighter side. Love the malt finish on this one especially as well asd many of the others. Tart Session Ale - Peach: Delicious as all of them are, but definitely playing it safe on the tart and peach in this batch. Personally I'd love a bit more pucker going on, as well as more peach flavor. But you'll enjoy glass especially in this summer heat. SoDaKolsch: Light, easy, and could easily be a go-to picnic beer. Very refreshing, grab one when you go and sit on the porch watching the volleyball going on. This would be a good one to order your friend who is skeptical of the "craft beers" you always talk about. Heat Solution: Good wheat, and I enjoyed it. The malt is strong on this one as well which is always something I enjoy. However, as a wheat beer in the Midwest there is a large amount of competition for it. I'm really excited to see how this one grows, I could see it even being the base of some fun variants down the road.

Good beer, friendly staff. I am looking forward to trying the pizza on my next visit.
I love this place. Great people who love what they do. Really good beer. Something new almost every week. Solid porters, ambers, IPAs, and next level sours. Cool taproom. Great patio. Super neat view of the brewery.

3/9/23 was prompted to do a update, no change in rating. Every visit I've had has been good, good food good beer. 10/3/23 again prompted to update. No reason to change. Did notice more guest beers then I remember prior visits and I didn't have food this trip. Beer was good. Friend I brought fairly new to Obscure enjoyed it. 12/23/23 again prompted to update, no reason to change rating. Brought a out of town friend for their first visit and friend enjoyed it Great beer great service!
