One of the best restaurants in the Rockford area. Friendly staff. Generous portions of food. What everyone else said about the Steak Sinatra.. on point! You definately need to have this in your life. The food was delicious. We had the Italian salad, linguine with stuffed shrimp, mostaccoli with meatballs, grilled chicken breast with steamed broccoli and wild rice. The service was excellent. I have been going to Nunzios for years but I can’t understand why their steak sandwich is never consistent. Sometimes it’s the very best anywhere and the next time I can’t eat it and enjoy it and since it’s over $22 a piece I’m disappointed and do not like spending money on food that isn’t tasty where I have no problem if it’s enjoyed. I have been a patron of nunzios for many years. We recently went in for dinner, I hate to say but the quality is no longer there. The steak senatra was dry my mom was not pleased with the ravioli and my dad did not like his spaghetti. I guess it will just be for pizza.not homemade and it shows. I've been to Nunzio's for dine in, a few times, and also now for the first time take out. Overall, love this place. It's a local gem. Great huge portion sizes, the Sinatra selections are always a staple, and my husband loves their burgers. The carry out can get a little crazy from what I experienced last night (totally get it because they're always bumping as far as total people frequenting the restaurant and apparently take out as well!) So the only recommendation I can make is grab credit card orders over the phone so you don't have to run in and out for payment which doubles your time with 1 car. Otherwise, super pleasantly surprised by the carry out experience and appreciate the good food as always! My dad loved the Stuffed Shrimp Linguine and I tried the Chicken Alfredo Linguine last night and really enjoyed it.
