A really lovely place to stop for coffee, something light, or a hot meal. The views from the restaurant are spectacular. The interior is very traditional and charming. I had a vegetarian burger and enjoyed it very much. Thanks for a great time! Can’t wait to return.

From the moment I arrived at Nummedal Kro, I was genuinely impressed by their impeccable service and top-notch quality. At first glance, it might look like your ordinary diner, but looks can be deceiving. Dive a little deeper, and you'll discover a world of surprises. They have a ping pong table, and the staff were more than happy to lend me rackets. The multilingual proficiency of the staff — notably in fluent French — was an unexpected delight. This linguistic flair wasn't just for show; they have an actual French chef. The culinary experience here was nothing short of exceptional, with dishes that seemed to draw inspiration from the legendary Paul Bocuse. I highly recommend giving this place a shot — you won't be disappointed.

Really good food! Friendly and good service in a nice and tidy diner.
If the weather is nice you can enjoy your meal outside with a nice view to the river “Numedalslågen» gently flowing by.
