Excellent food quality and portions for the price. Fish was fresh and you could see and hear the sushi chef prepping our meals. Service was fast and courteous and thoughtful. Wanted to try out this small restaurant tucked in a nondescript strip mall that was getting rave reviews. It did not disappoint! All the sushi rolls we ordered were great! My favorite was the Tokyo roll. The wait time was a bit long, but that was expected in such a popular spot on a Friday night. Will definitely go back again! The best sushi i have ever had! Every single roll i have tried here has been absolutely amazing, not a single miss! The servers are so attentive, gentle, and kind and really make the experience even better! The sushi tastes very fresh and you can tell the chefs truly take their time making it - like the sushi is made with love! The presentation is absolutely beautiful. Even rolls that i normally dont like i absolutely loved here. Overall the experience was a 100/10 - from the hospitality of the servers, to the amazing food, and the presentation. My friend and i came back two nights in a row after because we couldn’t stop thinking about it! This place is a true gem and if you’re looking for a sushi spot this should definitely be the one you choose! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered a nice little carryout feast for NYE dinner at home. Beautiful presentation. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Some rolls were definitely made on the smaller side compared to other local restaurants, and the tempura appetizer was a little on the soggy side (although that may have just been a function of carryout). Regardless, we did like the place overall and, for being local in driving distance (no Uber required), we can rely on eating here again. Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5

I stopped in for lunch and it was so good. I ordered the sushi and sashimi lunch and edamame. The food was delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to come back. This place is absolutely phenomenal!!! The food was amazing, the staff were super kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was super kid - friendly without making it uncomfortable for adults. The owner, who worked as a waiter was especially kind (her name is Elaine, if you were wondering) to my daughter. The food was mouthwatering, and they got everything in our order correct. my friend and i were super hungry and wanted to visit a local place!! it was in the neighborhood and we wanted to try it out. we got the hibachi chicken, salmon avocado roll, and sandwich roll. IT WAS DELICIOUS and we almost finished everything and we are two small girls. we were so full and they even gave us an on-the-house sushi special w dessert and it was AMAZINGGGGG. we loved our server and the service was so nice. would go back again. 10/10 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Overall for sushi, this place does compete with places such as Fuji Japan in Layhill. For this review I will go based on the order of food, service then atmosphere. I was a bit disappointed that the veggie Tempura didn't use the same panko batter as the shrimp Tempura. Shrimp Tempura was definitely good and on par of what Tempura should be. All the rolls we ordered were not over the top, but the menu did lack a lot of description of what some of the rolls were. We did order a bowl of beef udon soup, which would fit well for a palette of a child (very mild flavor to almost boiled water with a scoop of beef boullion, i.e. not worth getting for someone looking to get their ramen or udon fix). Portions were decent and the prices are expected for what you get. Service was prompt and very accommodating to our party of 8. I assumed because we ordered quite a bit for our party, it was a nice surprise to receive an "on the house" plate of sushi. The only thing that wasn't picked up on our order was the 2 bowls of miso soup, could have been a simple missed mistake, but it wasn't busy and it was easy to wave the staff down to remind them. Atmosphere was clean, simple and no loud background music, so having a conversation with your party is very inviting. I would definitely come back as a place to converse with friends and with decent food. 3.5 out 5 for me as an overall grade. More importantly, would I come here again? Yes to get my simple sushi fix, but if I have a larger craving, I would go to Yuraku. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
