My boyfriend made surprise reservations here for Valentine’s Day. Calm chowder was one of the best we’ve ever tasted. Started with complementary pretzel bites with cheese dip sause. Very yummy. Also split the bacon appetizer and NY sirloin. No room for dessert, but the slices of cakes with enormous. Phenomenal atmosphere and service. Highly recommended for an upscale higher end dinner. Food and atmosphere was very good but as mentioned in other reviews a restaurant of that caliber should offer coffee with dessert... it finishes the meal and some people don't drink alcoholic beverages and would like a cup of coffee with meal. PLEASE ADD COFFEE TO MENU... Service Dine in

Nick’s steakhouse is an excellent addition to the York, ME restaurant scene. I highly recommend sitting at the well-appointed bar & ordering from all available food menus. (Those mini beef wellingtons were delightful…along with some solid cocktails) My highest compliments to both the owner & the chef for executing their vision in such an inspiring way, especially for the area…I truly hope this restaurant ups-the-ante for all surrounding establishments. It is one of the best restaurants in the area. We went for my husband’s birthday with my adult children. We are all foodies. Service was wonderful and the owners stopped by to chat which added a nice touch. If you like shrimp cocktail ? Their cocktail sauce is next level. The rib eye was perfection! Nice find on the way home from a Christmas concert. Romantic dinner or upscale family dinner. Generous servings that taste so good. Fantastic wine list. Just don’t ask for coffee with your dessert. All I kept being told was “your in Maine” service was painfully slow. Calamari was cold and the replacement was like rubber so it must of been the first dish re heated. Burger #1 was raw - Ordered Medium well Burger # 2 was a little less raw but non the less waaaaaay. under cooked Service was S L o W E. R Than acceptable. , while the owner walked around doing nothing to help. NOT Impressed and no better than Outback. So sad too because I was really looking forward.
