Everything you need its here
When I lived in the area, I shopped here frequently. Large free parking lot. Nice health food section. Vegetables displayed beautifully. In store Bakery. 10% discount for seniors on certain days . Community minded store.

I have been shopping here for years. I think the food quality is ok, but the place is overpriced, my receipts are continually wrong with me being overcharged, and I recently bought an item that spoiled before its expiration date and when I returned it I was treated if I was trying to pull a fast one. Never any apologies for their errors. Nobody seems too happy in the Capitola store. Aptos store is wayyyy better and the employees way more helpful and professional.

Love the 41st customer service and all the store settings. It’s always easy to shop, great quality and amazing cafe
New leaf stores are amazingly healthy and organized. The prices are in my opinion extremely high however, you get what you pay for in most cases. Overall, I certainly enjoy the stores and the standard quality of foods in the store.
Very poor costumer service. I walked out with a pack of ground beef I had just purchased and it fell off the bottom of my cart. I put it on the bottom as my kids were in the cart and I didn’t want them touching ground beef. This happened right outside the store in their parking lot and when the package fell off the cart it was still salvageable until a car quickly ran over it unaware! Another woman that witnessed in the parking lot laughed with me because we couldn’t believe it just got run over. But I had the receipt (I mean it happened literally one minute after we left the store) so I figured it wouldn’t be an issue to pick out another package so went right back in even bringing in part of the ground beef package with a huge tire wheel mark in it and told them what just happened. The store manager informed me they “were not responsible and it didn’t happen in their store and didn’t happen on their time.” I will say my cashier was super nice! He felt bad and even provided me with a coupon which I’m surprised the store manager didn’t do but great cashier!!

I used to love New Leaf markets. I even would drive from over the hill just to shop. However they've become more like a boutique specialty store, not somewhere to do all your household grocery shopping at. The prices are too high and the selection more and more limited. That said, never shop at Santa Cruz WF! Support these grocers who actually offer organic and clean food... Not just ones like WF who put up "organic" propaganda posters in front of all their conventional produce. New leaf does offer organic produce and packaged goods. So I'll keep shopping and supporting merchants that do.

This place is actually green and clean with the best selection of healthy, ethically sourced and plant based options that I have seen so far in the area. The place itself is quaint and beautiful and well organized. They had everything we wanted and more and the staff are also very kind and friendly. They even have a cute little cafe inside. This is easily my new favorite grocery store. We will be back and often!
New leaf on 41st is a great little store. It is never very busy, and I could usually get in and out pretty quickly. I love going for their produce and fruit. It is always so delicious. They have a little smoothie station that you can also get food at and enjoy outside in the seating area. I love when they have peaches in season, and they always have the best crisp and juiciest grapes. They have a great meat department. Smaller store but it’s packed full of goodies. Always plenty of parking in the shopping center.
Love my fave (that I come all the way from San Francisco to get) Annie's cashew pimento sesame spread!!! Yummy assortment of cheeses (I got Fromager d' Affinoir brie from France, this time), dolmatia fig spread and parmesan crisps.
