I heard about this place from my school. I heard the owner was an alumni, so I had to check it out. I’ve always wanted to try farm to table food. I ate here yesterday. It was a delightful experience. I got a fish sandwich and it was very delicious, especially with a side of Carolina Hold BBQ sauce. There was live music tonight. The atmosphere was amazing. The music was bossa nova which happens to be just one of my favorites. I got a cinnamon roll for dessert, it was my favorite. And the customer service was great! I came here for lunch on a Friday and I would say the experience was overall positive. This a neat coffee/ brunch spot in the city of Walnut and I wouldn't mind seeing more places like this around here. Service here is excellent and everyone was attentive and friendly. I tried their take on a pork sisig bowl and it was definitely refreshing take on that dish with a fresh helping of zucchini and citrus notes to break up the heaviness of the pork. I would get the dish again, but keep in mind there is shrimp paste in that dish, so you'll have to be aware of the scent it gives your breath. I do find the mimosa at $15 to be quite pricey even if it is quite tasty. Ingredients here are very fresh tasting and you will be in for a quality meal here, but it can be hefty on the wallet.
