I tried this place a year ago and one year later, as I'm planning my annual trip, was trying to add this bakery to the itinerary because the sweet treats were so good! I can still taste the perfection of the pound cake and the red velvet cake melted in my mouth. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the price, but obviously I was willing to pay it all over again. I'm sorry to hear the owner is out due to illness. She was such a delight when talking over the phone and in person. I pray for your recovery and an abundance of success for you and your business once you return.

This 7UP Cake is just amazing! I happened upon this little bakery by chance and OMG 😋 I ordered peach cobbler for my mom and a slice of 7 Up cake which I shared with my family . Everyone was overwhelmed by the rich flavors and love in every bite. This last bite is all for me🥰 I will definitely support this bakery. I’m ready to place my thanksgiving order now. Thank you Granny!

Happened up on this little gem today! Whew! The pound cake is amazing! Just the right texture and moist! The crust was perfect! Also tried the peach cobbler - very good! Nice crust! We had to try the sweet potato pie - they hit the mark on it as well! The owner and her mom were so sweet! You have to stop by for yourself!

My husband ordered my birthday cake from here and it is beautiful! I’ve had the peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, strawberry cake (you get the picture, lol) and all the desserts are great! In addition, the store is CLEAN and the owner is super nice! Her Granny would be proud! Stop by and support.

Not only are these cakes made with Love, they’re the absolute best I’ve ever had. The slices are large and filling. I’ll definitely be ordering my upcoming 50th birthday cake from this bakery. Whether you reside in Metro Atlanta or visiting, you have to check out this bakery- so many flavors to choose from. Also, the customer service by phone and in person are superb. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED…

As a food blogger for A Pinch of Butter, I had the pleasure of spending my day at My Granny Cakes, and I indulged in a piece of moist 7 UP cake and a strawberry 🍓 cake that made me have to double back and get some more for my ride home.

I highly recommend this place if you grew up with a Granny who baked. I tried the Red Velvet Cake w/ Pecans, the Sweet Potato Pie & the Pound/7-up cake. The Pound/7-up cake was by far the best & very reminiscent to how my Granny prepared it… moist & cut into big slices. It was nice to get that flood of memories while enjoying every bite. Oh, and it tastes good warmed or room temperature. 😋

I've never had a cake literally melt in my mouth before now! Extremely moist and flavorful! This is now my go to spot for cheat days! So very saddened by the owner's passing. We will miss everything about you and your bakery! 🙏🏾 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
