Horrible, horrible place. My meal was dished up swimming in water and grease. The garlic soup was fine as was the meat but the potato completely overcooked and tasteless. Staff are unfriendly and ruined our break by turning the radio up too loud, which wouldn't have been too bad if the music was good! For such a basic roadside canteen it's not cheap either. Really good food, evrytime we passing by we stop here for a lunch. Everytime we got good quality food, (Sviečková, guláš, bryndzové pirohy...) very good stuff. Would recommend. Restaurant has nice interior. It is built like a buffet Food was quite tasty though there was no vegetable. Prices are slightly above average (considering that you have to go and take the food and wait in line). Stopped on return trip from East Slovakia, food was very tasty, staff very helpful, facilities clean, kids corner. Very baby friendly with simple but good changing area (when compared to other places nearby) and plenty of highchairs. I really don't understand why the negative reviews, I would definitely stop again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We stopped there to eat on our way to Orava castle. It can cater quite a lot of people at once (bistro style) and you can also get dishes that are on the menu and prepared separately (say 10 min waiting). On the positive side - menu had also English food names. It has also small place for children to pay. The food serving went pretty quickly and the portions are pretty big. The prices are pretty high - for 2 people second dishes with drink is around 25eur, for 4 people soups only - around 20 eur (soups are pretty big also, especially goulash soup). Be careful with fish - could get into 20 eur for one person with side and salad. The food quality was ok - but nothing special. All in all - ok place for lunch.

Bellow average quality, pricey. If you need to stop and really can't go any further, it will do the job, however in case of planning find something else. - pricey, bellow average quality, canteen style without service + convenient location, parking

Nicely located surrounded by the mountains and quite well visible. There is plenty of room inside and enough parking space. The food is serviced cooked and it seems it is kept hot for a bit too long. Service is nice and very helpful. If you look for healthy food you shouldn't pop in. But for a quick snack, why not?
