We have been patrons of mission bbq Dover location since we moved here a little over a year ago. Each time we go, we are always reminded how exceptional they are in times where many restaurants are simply lacking. Their food speaks for itself and is absolutely delicious. What's more impressive is their people. Everyone that works there is exceptionally kind and puts a smile on your face; from the cashier, to the manager that goes out of his way to introduce himself and say hello, to our personal favorite Renee who is always walking around the restaurant and brings a smile to my kiddos face every time we go there with her personality and lovely conversation. We absolutely adore this restaurant and enjoy it every time we go. Thank you mission bbq for being such a high quality establishment in Dover! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the wet brisket and greens. Both items were hot and tasty. Best of all, their gal Rene, who assists you after you have placed your order. She is friendly, responsive and enjoys her job and Mission BBQ. She knows the menu, the condiments, and the Mission BBQ mission. My husband and I had our wedding catered by the Dover mission bbq this past November and they exceeded my expectations throughout the entire process! Their prices per head are the most affordable, even compared to other bbq places, and the quality and quantity of food was outstanding. Communication with their wedding/catering directors before the wedding was excellent and they could answer any questions I had and also cater to any special requests I had. As we approached the couple days before, they confirmed all the details with me and made me feel like I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing on the day of - which was 100% true! Even when we had a couple impromptu changes of schedule during the reception they were unphased and on top of it. The crew that was there on the day of the wedding included the kindest and most professional staff members who truly did cater to our every need and made the reception go smoothly. Our plates were even made for us and hot and ready when the rest of our guests went to the buffet line so we didn’t have to worry about when we would get to eat our food.
