This home cafe style restaurant is right off a main road, deep in a little town called Mocksville NC. What a great place! The place was packed at lunch time with jolly busyness their customers were chatting about their jobs and families. The menu had huge variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was prepared right and tasted great. Service was friendly, on time and really good overall. Would definitely return and recommend this jewel to everyone I know who may be passing through or suggest to just make a trip to stop on and eat here. You won’t be disappointed. Ps. I've been coming here for many, many, many years. It was always a treat going here with my grandparents. It's just a good little old diner. Lots of yummy comfort food, all the staff are super friendly and the more you go, the more they get to know you as well. It's just an overall nice place. I love getting the salt & pepper catfish, cabbage is always good, I love the hotdogs, BLT, the teriyaki grilled chicken salad, cheese sticks, fried green beans, bone in wings and love love love the cherry yum yum! Friendly service. Kinda has the dinner food vibe and same mix of a available options. It's an old town eatery that is popular around here. The food is generic, burger didn't really have much flavor, could have benefited from some Weber gourmet seasoning mix. BBQ is classic NC vinegar style. Prices are set to about 1990 which makes it popular. $3 burgers instead of $9.50 at the fast food places. They definitely have affordability as their strong points. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint! The food and service are very good. We didn't have to wait long for our order. My husband had the Pimento Cheese Burger and Fries, and I had a Catfish Fillet Sandwich and Tater Tots. Great Cole Slaw! I highly recommend giving them a try, whether you are local or not, it's worth the trip. Miller’s gives the impression of a “good ol’ southern” restaurant, but it was disappointing eating in. There was no sign indicating to seat yourself or wait to be seated, and employees looked at us but no one greeted us or gave any direction when we walked in. So seat yourself. It doesn’t feel very clean in the left dining area we sat. If you’re going to bring a baby to sit in a high chair, I’d recommend bringing a blanket or something to cover the parts they can touch. The high chairs are old wood and porous, had black spots. They were out of half of the items we wanted to order. One of the dishes we ordered was completely inedible. I’ve ordered take out from here a few times and it’s never been spectacular- best described as mid. It’s nice to have a non-chain restaurant in town, but this place really needs some help in the hospitality, cleanliness, and food preparation departments. A really nice dinner with items on the menu you don’t normally see. I had breakfast with eggs, pancake and a breaded pork tenderloin. It was delicious. I only looked briefly at the lunch menu. It, too, looked interesting. My meal was very good, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was friendly, fast and efficient. I couldn’t see anything not to like. This is the place to come for country comfort food. We got here around 5:15 and it was fairly busy, but tables were available inside. There is outside seating. It's seat yourself with menus on the table. Service was quick & friendly. I got country fried steak with fried squash & mini peach salad. The steak was very flavorful, could have been hotter coming out. Squash was crispy, hot & delicious. The peach salad is lettuce, mayo, peach half & a sprinkle of cheddar. I subbed the mayo with cottage cheese. Hub got the flounder plate with fries & slaw. He said it could have been crispier, but it was well cooked otherwise & tasted delicious. Fries were good & crispy! Thanks for the home cooked meal!
