Had the cabbage rolls and one of the rolls tasted like old crunchy meat. Then I order the special chicken pot pie. Was not good. Then I ordered a meat pie. Not good either. Bill came out to $38 dollars with the "10% discount" because of the cabbage rolls. N&J's Bakery is way better.

Check it out!! Drove by 1,000 times without noticing, but someone mentioned this spot & I decided to try it. Very understated storefront, but don't let that mislead you. Read on. MIF Deli (Mediterranian International Food - had to ask). Just west of Carriage Parkway main entrance, northside, facing Central. Quaint, very clean. Deli counter, but also table service. My wife had the daily special ($14.99) which was Chicken Puffed Pastry, served with a cup of soup or salad (chose Lentil Butternut Squash). I had Chicken Humos Shawarma ($12.99). The special was a HUGE helping. The cream sauce was savory and properly portioned, the puffed pastry was crispy, flaky and delicious... and the white meat chicken was moist & tasty. Served with pita strips. Wow! On to the shawarma. What can one say, other than excellent? Hummus was superb. Generous serving of pita strips on the side. Yum! Service could not have been better. So, this demur little deli went well beyond my expectations. I say "Put this on your bucket-list of Wichita eateries." Highly recommended!

Chicken Puff Pastry, Tomato soup,Lamb gyro meat, salad and service were Excellent, however, Potato pie was not good.. tastes bland,ll had a "leftovers" taste, bland ,gummy, tsatziki tastes like just mayonnaise... hello.. Thanks for getting back to us!.Now. We asked for tsatziki..the server didn't say anything about it being your garlic mayonnaise...it was tasty..,my review of the potato pie, was based on my previous orders of your , usually, really good, potatoe pie... We'll be back....I have ordered food items in other restaurants,and have told the server/ manager, that I wasn't satisfied,and have been told, "that's just the way it's always served.."
