Ordered 12 oz. Prime Rib special and it was so tough that it couldn't be eaten. Scones that are usually wonderful and tasty were cold, tough and overcooked. The fries were cooked in extremely dirty oil, so much that the fries looked like pieces of wood. We have been coming here for over 30 years and the food continues to go down hill. I’ve been coming here basically my whole life. For most of our special occasions we come here and some of the waitress’s know us. The meals are cheap and huge! They are also delicious. And don’t even get me started on their scones they are delicious. We never leave without scones! They have amazing meals and such a cozy environment. It’s my favorite restaurant and for the past 19 years I have never had a single bad experience. Good food, great service, and a decent atmosphere. Not a long wait, we got a great table with the sun shining in from the south on this cold last day of December. We are out of town and told that the locals eat here. Sure, glad we asked around this place has amazingly good food large portions. Waitress staff was kind, nice. Pleasant. Helpful. My biggest complaint is the scone.. when the customer orders a scone it should be made fresh!!! Not from under a heat lamp where it sat for probably an hour or more, and honey butter must be served, not this fake trash. This is probably the worst stone I've ever had!!! The food was decent but my waitress hates her job and it shows. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

I went here to have a catch up with my grandma and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere! I really loved the old fashioned diner look, plus it was bustling and just had a nice vibe overall. The servers were quick and polite. They also made sure to check in on us often and let us stay for a decent while after we were clearly finished eating so we could talk and catch up. The diner wasn't super full so that I'm glad we didn't feel rushed. I got The Foreman with hamburger and eggs. It came with toast and hash browns too. The hash browns were a little on the wet or burnt side without much in between, but they were still yummy. The scrambled eggs were VERY nice and soft and the toast was crispy and delicious. Overall, the food was 9/10 (one point off for less than ideal hash browns). I've only been once around lunch, but my experience was great overall! What a mistake to stop by here! Raw, undercooked and diluted. Omelette with veggies and cheese was so plain and undercooked, cheese didn't have time to melt. Hashbrowns were left untouched because it seemed like they were still frozen; half of it were just raw potatoes. Service was OK, however, still had to call few times to get attention. And don't you ever get a coffee in this place, cause I think it's just colored boiled water. No flavor at all. The interior is old American style with a nice view on the main strip. Table was served nicely and in time. Clean and neat place, what basically get the stars. Overall not even one time try place.
