My husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch and had the 3 meat platter. All of the meats were perfect and the macaroni and cheese was incredible. Looking forward to trying the salad bar, as it had a ton of options and everything looked fresh and delicious. We were easily able to eat and get back to work within an hour. Love the old classic diner feel of this place, but love the food and people even more. They never fail to be kind and helpful, and many of the staff make a specific effort to remember those of us who eat here regularly! The food is consistently delicious too. The biggest praise is that they are real people, who make efforts to adapt the menu items to your specifications, whenever possible. Great place. As others mentioned, this place is pricey. You can easily make a $30 burger if you get the extra toppings at $2/piece. Near the salad bar there are excellent free toppings like salsas, pico, jalapeños, peppers, onions, etc. Personally I’d skip any premium toppings except cheese and go for the free toppings there. Then the burger/sandwich price isn’t terrible. The sandwich portion sizes are huge. I had the grilled chicken and it was juicy with a great grilled flavor. The onion rings were good, but maybe I missed the memo on why they were the best thing. They were just good. The place was clean and there were lots of workers cleaning tables, picking up plates, and keeping the salad bar clean. The person that took our order was very nice and helpful. Food didn’t take long (~8 minutes on a not busy day) and tasted very fresh. I really enjoyed it here. Large menu. We tried sliced beef, ribs, baked potato, chili tater tots, grilled cheese and onion rings. Love the atmosphere, kinda like an elaborate deli or counter type diner. The food was good, nothing that really stood out, but good non the less. Worth checking out. Awesome place to grab a bite to eat. Portions were huge, and tasty. There was even a salad bar, and the airplanes hanging from the ceiling were cool to see. The owner even made it a point to say hi to us while in line and chat with us after we ordered. Great place!
