Merle’s is the center of life in this town. Come for community but stay for the best drinks you’ve had. Can’t say enough good about these fine folks.

Merle's is a gem! The space is absolutely beautiful and the cocktails are some of the best I've ever had! They have a wonderful selection of drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The staff are extremely kind, helpful and so good at what they do! The owners are great people and care deeply about the Wilkesboro community. 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful, relaxed atmosphere with pleasant staff and good clientele. They have a fabulous selection and the innovative presentation of their cocktails turns a simple drink into an event!

Arrived at 8:45, party of 3, as we entered, the bartender said she had just made last call. No problem as we were only going to have one drink because that is all we can afford as the drinks seem overpriced for the amount you get. We sit down to look at the menu and in a couple of minutes the bartender came back to what we thought was to take our order, much to our surprise the lady said I told you all that I had already made last call and we are not serving any more drinks tonight. With our mouths hanging open we walked out and will not be back.

Cute little bar. Funny part is they don't do shots... but you can get a drink Neat... 🤔 triva is so much fun.
