This was the first time that my family and I have been here (we’re from out of town) and it was an AMAZING experience!! Place was empty, thought they were closed. BBQ was eh, ribs or chicken did not have much flavor, thankfully the sauce was good…. Coleslaw was eh, but I did enjoy the spicy pinto beans. It was our first visit, as well as our last. I wasn’t impressed. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

If I could give this establishment a 10 I would for sure. Upon entering the owner gave us several samples. Brisket, a rib, his sausage and even offered his signature stew. He was very hospitable and the food he served was unreal. The brisket was so tender and moist. The pulled pork I paired with his Carolina BBQ sauce and WOW WOW WOW. Last I had the traditional sausage and jalapeño sausage. I wil say this and stand by it, the beat sausage I have had in the state of Texas. So juicy with a perfect crunch to the outer skin. While dining, the owner and his staff were cleaning tables and making sure everyone enjoyed their food. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. I will be back for sure. Brisket sandwich had way too fat. I don't taking a bite and getting a big mouthful of fat. Mac n cheese was a little spicy/smoky like chipotle or something. Hands down the best BBQ brisket around. Lately, I've been coming almost once a week, getting 2lbs or more of brisket. Yes it's that good! Fries, ribs, etc also very good. Also very outstanding customer service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Big time bbq guy. Im a kind, honest man. They probably have better days, came here cause of the reviews. Here’s my experience on a Friday @ 12pm - Spent $30 I wouldn’t come back. - Not a fan of the BBQ sauce. - Mac & cheese was ok, would’ve liked warmer - Pork ribs are kinda pasty - Sausage is decent - Brisket isn’t horrible, missing smoke ring and strong seasoning. *** OUT of sweet tea, place was only 20% occupied Either I got old food or someone cooked @ high temp in a short period of time to expedite.
