Everyone loves McAlister's iced tea, it's one of the things they're the most famous for. I'm not big into sandwiches so it was not one of my go-to spots for lunch. One of my friends wanted to pop in and get a soup and sandwich combo so, as I was not very hungry, l agreed to meet her there. At first glance the menu is just sandwiches. Upon closer perusal, l discovered they have interesting baked potato toppings, several soup choices, and an insane variety of salads! Of course they had the traditional Chef, Chicken, and Caesar, but the Pecan Berry is to die for! Fresh crisp greens, strawberry slices, candied pecans, blueberries, grilled chicken and a nice variety of dressings, including the raspberry, pecan vinaigrette which is what I chose. My friend ordered the chicken dumpling soup with the grilled chicken sandwich. The soup was served piping hot with steam curling over the bowl. It was a bit chilly out so I asked for a taste and it was so yummy! I felt like I could drink a gallon of just the broth. Thick and creamy with plenty of flavor, this soup reminded me of a southern style, homemade chicken and dumplings. The only disappointment was in the half a French Dip sandwich l ordered to accompany my salad. Not a fan of red meat but once in a while I do like a French Dip. The bread was very good, thick and crusty with the right amount of melting when dipped into the au jus. The meat however, was chewy, flat and flavorless. It was so awful, l was only able to eat one or two bites before putting it away. The service was excellent! We were greeted, with friendly smiles, by multiple staff members, and our order was taken efficiently. We received our food in a timely fashion and two different staff members checked on us while we were eating. It was not very busy as we went about 10:45 on a Monday morning. The restrooms were spotless and it was nice being able to access our beverages in a self-serve capacity. This McAlister's had indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is conducive to either a business meeting or a simple get together with friends or acquaintances. My friends and I will definitely eat here again so that we may experience the wonderful staff, relaxing environment, delicious salads and tasty soups. It's good food, but the last time we were there we got served food with a hair in it. We asked for a replacement which they provided, but it had a different piece of hair in it! None of the kitchen staff are wearing hair nets and it seems to show... When the food doesn't have hair in it, it's delicious. Sandwiches are great, ate here 3 times with family while visiting hospital. First time they were able to make a sandwich tray for nurses. 3 days later, spending 70 bucks on 5 Sandwiches it was too much to put them on a plastic tray for the nurses. I asked twice and explained the situation. Management was not helpful and didn't bother to even discuss it. Infuriating. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Food is delicious, few mistakes made but staff fixed any problem I had to make my meal excellent. Rhi is amazing, she will take care of you with a bright smile. Tortilla soup is very tasty. We visited here last weekend! Always love me some McAlister’s! I always get the same thing! Chef salad yum! We took my niece here for her first time. She loved it! Jackie took our order. I used to love ordering from here but recently the service and quality of food has been terrible. I picked up my order just the other day and the salad was a completely different salad from what I had ordered, even though the label on the container read correctly. The second salad I ordered had two large pieces of plastic in it. When I tried to contact them I was brushed off. Very disappointed in what this McAlister location has turned into. Today was actually awful. We have been there many times through the years, and have been noticing a steady decrease in quality. However, today was truly an abysmal experience. Not only was every order wrong, but there were so many issues it's depressing. We had a sandwich with paper inside of it, and a salad with a sharp piece of plastic. When we brought it to the managers attention we were pretty much brushed off. This is probably the last time we will be going. Quality has dropped significantly. The sandwiches used to look really well made, now they are very sloppily thrown together and I've had bacon thrown onto my southwest chicken sandwich two separate times now and it isn't supposed to have bacon. Today the sandwich had deli style chicken and not the grilled chicken that it used to have. Not sure what's changed but it's just not worth the cost anymore and they aren't cheap sandwiches. They've really gone down in quality. With the soup they've also significantly reduced the amount of chips you get. Adding that ordering online does not save you time here either....everytime I order I have to wait at the very least 10 minutes after the pickup time, worst case was 45 minutes. My very first experience ordering from this restaurant. Customer service was so awful I felt the need to leave this review. There was a ton of miscommunication with my online order and where it was placed. The two girls at the register were extremely rude and didn’t say anything when they found my food they practically just tossed it on the counter. But at least the food was good.
