This bar and The Strand can be both really attractive for tourists. It's a must while visiting Market Station to drink good beer. the bartender did not sever me because I referred you a rum and coke as a Cuba libre. They immediately kicked me and my friend out because they thought it was an “.offensives” term which I thought was the normal term of their drink. I am never going to market station again in my life. It extremely offended me. Price per person $1–10

This place is a Galveston staple. Great bartenders, creative cocktails, free pool, and shuffleboard. There is a reason Market Station is packed most nights. Anybody with something negative to say has a fundamental misunderstanding with what kind of bar this is. THERE IS NO TABLE SERVICE. I know I personally bring anyone who visits me on the island here.
