Awesome local restaurant that has some incredible New Mexican cuisine. It's a safe and easily accessible location from I-25. The restaurant is perfect for small or large dining fun. Staff is professional, courteous and responsive. Food was 5 stars, I'd recommend the combination so you can pick and chose several items (like enchiladas and rijenos). I've learned in New Mexico to get the chili on the side. The green chili at this restaurant was off the charts good. Really went down hill and will not be back! Got food poisoning off their ceviche. Gave them a try a month later to try again. Super blaaaand, small portions & overpriced. Didn't even get drinks. We ordered online because we wanted to come and just pick up. I get here and theres no front of the house. I waited, then when she comes she’s with a bad attitude. Leaves to check on my order, takes another 5 minutes to come back and tell me my order has just been submitted because they hadn’t submitted it. So now i wait another 30 minutes for my order to be done. My husband goes back inside to pick our order and there’s no front of the house AGAIN. I watched people come in and leave because there was no one there to greet them or at least say there’s a wait. Good food but service could do better. Just left after our first visit. First off, I am stuffed! This place is delicious! And the drinks are legit! A friend recommended the cucumber shot, & oh my! Maria R, our waitress, was incredibly attentive and friendly! She truly made the experience more enjoyable! We had heard there was music on Fri/Sat nights, but none this evening. Burritos are not full of meat at all. They are full of rice and beans. I ordered a Carne asada burrito and it had very few pieces of meat. The greeter said that the meat is pre portioned out, so that just means their normal amount of meat for a $12 burrito is acceptable to them. Looks delicious and it was edible. I'm sorry but the food was not great.. I got the shrimp and beef fajitas small portions for the price, queso with jalapeno and chorizo was pretty gross not spicy or hot I had to add the green chili salsa.. then I got only 3 corn tortillas! Are they rationing the food . I know times are hard but $17 for the plate and it was almost like a child's portions... I don't think I will return... $89.
