VILE. I’ve been here in the past, it was fine. Today, stopped and got a take-home frozen cheeseburger mac and it was the most bitter, dry, vile thing I’ve ever tasted. The hamburger was tasteless, the sauce was non-existent, basically grease, and the flavor was just purely bitter. I’ve never had anything more disgusting in my life. I’ve been to Mac-n-Choose frequently ever since discovering them and have never once been let down. They have a very generous selection on their menu and their staff is always super helpful with any modifications. Their food is so good that I feel disappointed with all other mac and cheese I’ve tried since. Can’t recommend enough. Never left a review anywhere before. This is the Patrick Mahomes of Mac and Cheese. Exciting, reliable, incredibly good. I’m a frequent flyer here since the Tyngsboro location opened and I have yet to leave disappointed. Criminally underrated spot. WOW!! My husband, my brother and myself stopped here for a late lunch on our way home from NH - what a great decision!! Perfectly priced! The Mac n’ cheese was deliciously served in hot, individual, cast iron skillets with bread crumbs (or other toppings) on top. The manager , whose name I didn’t get, was very nice and took his time to tell us some of the fan favorite dishes because we said it was our first time there when he welcomed us in! The waitress brought our skillets to the table and immediately noticed that my husband’s pulled pork was missing fried onions on top and quickly fixed his dish!! My kickin chicken (buffalo) was hot and steamy and my brother’s chicken bacon ranch smelled heavenly. All three dishes were SOOO CHEESY!! We will definitely be going back next time we are in the area to try a different kind!! They use pre-shredded cheese, which has preservatives to keep it from clumping together . Which also have the side effect of not melting well. So I was served a hot meal full of chunks of unmelted cheese. It was way overpriced and tastes bad. Anyone could make better mac and cheese at home. We stumbled upon this restaurant while perusing the Find Me Gluten Free app and figured we would give it a shot. The staff is knowledgeable and the restaurant takes care to avoid cross contamination while offering a wide variety of options for customers with food allergies/restrictions. We ordered three mac options, all of them were delicious and out very quickly. I strongly recommend this place to anyone with celiac or a gluten restriction. It’s awesome! 1st time here. Good - the Mac and cheese was very good made like a Philly Cheesesteak in a skillet. Had a great flavor and was very cheesy. The serving was very large. Bad - the Mac and cheese selection menu TV was off. The woman at the register was not very helpful at 1st. I asked what is a Mac and cheese Philly Cheesesteak? She replied with you have never had Mac and cheese? I said yes I have had many times. I was not informed it was made in a skillet with no bread. I thought at 1st it was a sandwich with Mac and cheese on it. 2nd the Mac and cheese inside the skillet was not hot. A big temperature difference from the skillet to the middle, in-between skillet and the top. The food was really good, but options were quite limited. The classic Mac and cheese and the garden delight Mac and cheese were both delicious and beautifully served. Service was great but I wished they didn't put plastic cutlery in piping hot Mac and cheese out of the oven. Real plates and cutlery would have helped since we ate in. Ok people this was my first time trying them and I’ll definitely tell you it will not be my last time ordering from here. OMG is their Mac and cheese awesome. I ordered the LG Mac and Burger and wow what a classic homemade taste it brought me back to my childhood days. The cheeses they use perfect amount of hamburger and perfect breadcrumb topping that’s as very crispy. I highly recommend eating here especially with the great selection of the different types of Mac and Cheese and they have sandwiches as well.
