I decided to have my Valentines Day dinner at this restaurant and it didn’t disappointed ! Cozy and well decorated place, service was also really good and fair price. I would totally recommend this place !

I'm German/American and lived as a kid in Switzerland. Schpreche Schwyzerdütsch wienen St Galler. 😉 The interior of the place is reminiscent of many a Gaststube I visited in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, however the decor is distinctly Swiss. I recognized many items from my childhood. All the dishes I've tried are very tasty, excellently prepared and presented, and the service is better than great. While I immensely enjoy the food, it's the ambiance that sets this restaurant apart from most Germanic restaurants. It's definitely worth the visit to the impeccably and beautifully landscaped Barnyard complex. With the closing of Matterhorn in San Francisco, it became much harder to get our fondu fix. Then we discovered Lugano. There are 'fondu restaurants' but the real stuff is not particularly common. Not only do they feature a pleasant selection of the gooey goodness, they offer a great menu for the cheese refusenik. The schnitzel is nice and the onion soup gratinee is generous and well prepared. Good wine list, good value for money. Bring Fido - Lugano is super dog-friendly. Gratifying service. We come here every time we visit Carmel by-the-sea. Great food and Julio provides great service 👍Tried the Swiss Pastetli and it's awesome. Their Jager schnitzel, Swiss cheese fondue and goulash are awesome.
