Been going to Luby's for years. Sadly, many locations have closed. Service is always good, and the establishment is kept clean. They have the best liver and onions and fresh food items. Everything including the cake was well prepared. Hope this is one location that stays open.

The take out to-go area has awful customer service. No one will even acknowledge you after standing in line for over 15 minutes. People were being waited on first that came in after me! 😡. I finally had to go to the dine in line to get my order! Terrible service and there are very few employee's on that line that actually work hard. One lady behind the counter is very hard worker but the rest of that staff are terrible! Maybe they should all be taught what customer service is!
The food is always good!

On Feb 28th 2024, I took my wife and elderly mother to Luby's .........
We had a Great experience......
The selection of food was outstanding, and the food was delicious.....
We all had something different, and everything was spot on....
The friendly staff carried my mothers food tray to the table .... The bathrooms were clean... Wheel chair friendly spacious dinning room.. A little pricey, but worth it...( All restaurants are a little pricey these days)
We will be coming back again and again.. Thank you Luby's......
Also will tell my friends and family about the delicious strawberry sort cake !!!..See ya soon..

After craving Lubys fried fish for an eternity, I finally stopped in. My server was great, but my fish was stone cold in the center and watery. My granddaughter's huge chicken fried steak was ALL breading. I've lost my appetite and my craving for Luby's.
Sadly, I think my relationship with Luby's is over. There are better options at a better price nearby.

This place was recommended by the front desk person at the hotel I was at. I saw the menu prices online and thought that they could be too low or wrong but when I got to the restaurant the prices are very reasonable and the food is very good. Had to chop steak and it was pretty awesome. I look forward to coming back there especially getting a meal to size dessert for under $20 is pretty unheard of these days

My husband and I recently enjoyed a satisfying dining experience at Luby's located at 3312 SE Loop 820 Forest Hill Fort Worth, TX 76140. We both indulged in a variety of dishes that left us pleased with our choice.
My husband's selection of roasted chicken, corn, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and pea salad exceeded expectations. Each element was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were delightful—a perfect remedy for our case of the munchies. Meanwhile, I opted for the fried chicken, and though the cabbage could benefit from a touch less water and a bit more seasoning, it was still enjoyable. The sweet potatoes, pea salad, and cornbread rounded out my meal nicely.
For dessert, my husband found delight in the chocolate cake, even though it didn't quite match my taste preferences. I went for the strawberry shortcake, which was decent, but the strawberry filling lacked the genuine essence of strawberries.
Importantly, the Luby's at this location holds a special place in our hearts, being our favorite among the others that unfortunately closed throughout Texas. We sincerely hope this particular location continues to thrive. The overall dining experience was pleasant, with a clean dining area, and our server was attentive and polite. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to Luby's.
I am really happy to know that not all Luby's restaurants have closed. This location was very clean, the staff was very friendly and there were more than enough food options. The food was very hot and fresh as well as the deserts. The cafeteria floor area was very clean. This is another definite return.

This Luby’s has a wide variety of freshly prepared food, friendly and helpful workers, a nice ambience (three walls are filled w huge windows) and good prices. You can choose to eat healthy or unhealthy!
For those on a budget, you can save $2 by getting the LuAnn plate, which is half the serving of a meat with two sides and a roll. You could also choose soup and a salad.
But I go because of the wide selection that is offered. Where else can you choose from a range of main dishes that include: turkey slices, fried chicken, thick angus burgers, liver and onions to fresh fish - and more!
The variety is great for groups and families because everyone can find what they like.
If you’ve never been to a Luby’s in the last few years, you might be startled If you pay w a credit card and are asked asked some version of: “do you want change?” They recognize that today, people don’t always carry cash and they want to be sure that you have some in case you’d like to tip the employee who will refill your drinks, bring extra napkins or check on a side that wasn’t there when you were in line. It’s really a great system.
Whether you’re eating alone or in a large group, this is a great place to get freshly made food quickly (unless a bus load of people just arrived!!! Even then, the line moves quickly).
