Love the staff here! They are so friendly! Everytime I go I never feel like a stranger. Pizza and subs are so delicious! There are times I have come here alone and felt welcomed

Food is pretty good. Service not so much. No waters delivered even when ordered. No plates with appetizers shared between 5 people. No checking on us after food came. No salt at the table.

I initially left a negative review of Lost Dog due to a combination of poor service, expensive food, and horrible onion rings. At the request of my coworkers, I have since gone back 2 more times and since then, Lost Dog has become one of my favorites. The food is fantastic and honestly given that it's so close to DC, the prices are pretty reasonable. Meanwhile, Trivia Tuesdays have been some of the most fun I've ever had hanging out with my coworkers after work. I still can't recommend the onions rings though. Avoid them at all costs unless you want to blackout and wake up 5 hours later with blood on your hands, sirens in the distance, and the unspeakable name of Yog-sothoth the Nameless Mist on your tongue.
OLD REVIEW:
I knew I was in for a treat when my request for ice less water was completely ignored and I had a cup of ice water sitting in front of me. First off the good stuff, or should I say the single good thing: the sandwich I got (buffalo beagle) was actually pretty good. I mean, it was nearly $12 and barely filling with how small it was but what little you get is decent quality. The onion rings were the real war crime. They were soggy, like they were deep fried in water or something. I think I'd prefer a bag of funyuns from the local vending machine than that garbage, cuz at least they'd be crunchy. To top it all off, the service was very slow. Even getting the check took forever. I do not recommend this place, it's overpriced with little value to back it up.

Fun little place. It was our first time here. Huge selection of sandwiches and pizzas and a nice beer inventory. We thought it was only a diner-y shop but there is a bar with a couple of tvs to keep you entertained. I could've used the music to be more present in the scene but other than that, it was enjoyable and we will be back.
