Never felt so unwelcome in an establishment. The hostess/waitress couldn’t be bothered to answer our questions or even seat us. Another couple came in a few minutes behind us and were seated with no issue, meanwhile my husband and I were just left standing there. We didn’t miss the fact that we were the only people of color there.

Coming from Queens in NYC diners are a go-to. This is the cutest place ever. Food was absolutely delicious. The tables, decor, and even the cups and plates made you feel like you were sitting at someone's table in their house.
And to top it off, the price is great.

My wife and I recently visited Lori’s Corner Kitchen for breakfast, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. However, our visit left much to be desired. Despite the diner being busy, we patiently waited to be seated, only to be completely ignored by the staff. After some time, I took the initiative to approach an employee, politely requesting a table for two. Unfortunately, my efforts were met with minimal acknowledgment and no sense of urgency.
To make matters worse, when another couple arrived and requested a table for two, the employee offered them the opportunity to sit at a large table with us, which we found unacceptable. However, without any explanation, the couple was promptly seated at the large table while we were left standing, feeling disregarded and undervalued as customers.
This lack of customer service was deeply disappointing and led us to question whether our treatment was influenced by our status as people of color. Despite all customers being treated equally, the fact that we were the only people of color in the diner made us wonder if we were being unfairly overlooked.
Overall, our experience at Lori’s Corner Kitchen was incredibly disappointing. The lack of attention and questionable treatment left us with a sour impression, and we will not be returning. We hope that the management addresses these issues to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve, regardless of race or ethnicity.

Walk in and absolutely NOBODY acknowledges you. You have to assume you can sit at any table. Then maybe if your lucky 15 minutes later your asked if you want a cup of coffee. Then 20 minutes later after telling them you want to order someone takes your order. 40 minutes later we got our eggs. Absolutely ridiculous and will never ever go there again. Horrible experience to say the least. No sign on door that it’s cash only.

Friendly people all around. The down side of it when it's packed, it's packed and your gonna wait. Truly the only down side of this place in my eyes.

If you have never been to this hole in the wall diner, you're definitely in for a great tasting meal. I absolutely loved my hefty ham and cheese omelette with shredded hashbrowns as a side and an English muffin. My husband said his burger has been one of the best tasting burgers he has had in a while. Highly recommend visiting this nice and welcoming diner.
