Might be popular and considered good in Sint Maarten but this was very sub par. Ended up here as I couldn’t bear another American-style fried meal and was craving broccoli. High prices for average quality. All good greasy with high levels of msg/yum yum. Not authentic taste it flavour. Pork satay was just small portion of tough, salty pork covered in thin salty curry sauce that was more like a packet mix- no peanut flavour or richness at all. My fault as I already knew chef was Chinese so shouldn’t have ordered indonesian/malay starter. Questioned (very helpful and friendly) waitress and she said it always came like that. The fried rice was generous portion but not many extras (meat or veg) delicious short rice and well flavoured but was greasy. The chinese greens in garlic sauce were tasty but greasy again. Had to ask for chop sticks. Asked for chilli only brought hot sauce nothing authentic or fresh. ‘Atmosphere’ delivered by massive tv.
Pros - tasty and clean.
